Do they all still carry their original names?

I have read somewhere that the new operator will have to keep GNER's current commitment of refurbishing the HSTs to 'Mallard' standard, and as the class 91 sets have been done recently, I doubt new stock will be brought in.

1)Do I need to be a member to voulenteer? 2) do I need any previous experience? 3) Is there anyone I can conact? especially for NYMR preferbly someone who has voulnteered there before for a week camping 4)does it matter that i'm 16? NYMR has free accomodation for voulenteers at most of it's stations

It's quite a nice livery, not too bright and offputtin like some odf them out there!

If GNER do bid again, I hope the DfT looks at the fact that GNER have successfully operated the franchise for many years, and has many satisfied customers, It's not all about money, is it???

Thanks for your comments, I should be able to manage the full yellow ends, but I'm not sure about the slanted orange edges.

this would not happen, I have seen some pictures of it being tested at a disused underground station, from what understood the projectors would go off in a wave as the train entered the station, and then switched on again in sequence to follow the train to the end of the platform.

Great to hear the problems are sorted for now , lets hope this dosent happen again!
