Looking forward to it very much, but as others have said - how do you find the time to do it?

Indeed - the consists etc used in my activities for DC are either ones created by me or those that were installed as part of the DC3 CD. If there have been any changes to the DC3 CD consists or other files, then my activities may not work as I intended.

As for creating 12 car 450s, you can either do this using ConBuilder or in the Activity Editor.

Cross City sounds good to me as that was my main route into/out of Birmingham when I was younger, although the whole Centro network would be really nice IMO, but I'm guessing that really would be a lot of work to create. Did have a little look at attempting something myself for the West Mids, but ju...

and to be honest, who's going to notice a difference between 30 and 50 fps? I know that I struggle to spot the difference between 20 and 30, but can get up to 40fps on DC on my laptop with the Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics.

I've got a similar specced Acer laptop running Dorset Coast 4 pretty well apart from what I suspect are BinPatch related crashes. Main difference is 120G hard disk and 15.4inch screen. It is an Acer Aspire 5103 from Dabs.com and came in at about £450.

Does BVE run on Vista yet? If not, then it's definitely MSTS all the way for me

Now I'm not too interested in the late 80s style trains despite growing up around B'ham in the 80s and 90s - I would rather see the current crop of trains (ie Virgin/Central etc) included as I can relate more closely to these as my train travelling mainly started in the mid-late 90s.

have to say the screenshots of New St look a little odd with NSE stock there. I'd like to see some Central Trains stock to keep it modern, but the pick & mix option does look good

I have no involvment with the Toddington route, although I would be interested to know what you think as I'm thinking about obtaining a few new routes shortly.

In fact at the moment, my only contributions to MSTS are a few activities for the DC4 route.

It's possible that your spyware scanner is picking up a false positive - ie something in the ECE code is extremely similar to some of the code from this keylogger. What spyware scanning software are you using? I would recommend downloading Adaware and or spybot search and destroy and seeing what the...

you need to ensure that Trainstore is running as an administrator - otherwise Vista will not allow it to write to the Program Files folder.

It's not possible to run MSTS in a true widescreen resolution as far as I am aware. You can either run it in a window (can't remember the switch to add to the command line off the top of my head), or you should be able to adjust your notebook's display to run in a normal resolution with black bars d...
