Hi Folks,
Is there any way to get the AWS ramps to function in both directions, as used on various single line sections so that you get a warning when passing over them in the wrong direction to the applicable signal?
Thanks for any help,
JV.

SMS Sound file help
Hi folks, Is there any way a discreate trigger can be used in a sound source .sms file? Basically what I wish to be able to do if its possible is to be able to only play a certain sound within a certain area, which is activated at the touch of a key. Anyone help with these please?
1) I am aware that MSTS Bin restarts the engine/wag sounds when you change ends, however: does it reload sound sources as well (ie, as though the activity was restarted for example?) 2) Do the .s files reload as well to affect the train or not? Reason I'm asking is that if they do, I am going to be ...

Re: Virus Found in MSTS ?
Hi folks, This may shed light on internet activity: MSTS is normally a key coded product if I'm not mistaken and is thus covered under the microsoft regeime of key coded software. DVA Sound System Help
Hi folks, I am currently working on a Digital Voice Announcer (DVA) program for use with MSTS. The program is vertually complete and is based around using the more than ideal Autohotkey program to perform the tasks required. As it stands, it is fully customisable (as far as selecting routes/journeys...

Re: Another Clever Use for the Invisiwag.
If you're happy with standard announcements, you can be clever and save yourself alot of time by eliminating the time of the service from the announcement, and just having for example 'PLATFORM 2 FOR THE SOUTHWEST TRAINS SERVICE TO ... CALLING AT ...' This way you only need to create a common set of...

Re: Another Clever Use for the Invisiwag.
Correct, with a route placed sound it will play the same sound every time its triggered. This will allow custom activities to be made with an appropriate announcement to match the service you are on.... It could even be used to announce approaching AI trains if you combined the files correctly!

Re: Another Clever Use for the Invisiwag.
Dam cunning these natives 8) I'm thinking more of Clapham Junction with about 8 of 'em going off at once :D :D :argue: Or something like "Stand away from the edge of platform 13, the approaching train is not scheduled to stop at this station....." as a Gat Ex wizzes through....... :bad-words: :D

Re: Not quite MSTS Related, but is tube related
Can also remember a 91 being dispatched from doncaster - not having realised that he'd been given the wrong route towards Hull, the driver accepted the signal and proceeded - mysteriously very rapidly coming to a halt due to an unexplained loss of power.... The result of the incident was most of the...

Re: Not quite MSTS Related, but is tube related
Doh!! :argue: !!! We've had more then one occasion where our local panel has sent north bound trains - south for example! Watching the train depart it suddenly stoped before it reached the crossing - then set back for another attempt. One of the best ones I saw was when a train had to reverse out of...
