Re: Somerset & Dorset. Problems with Activties
Hi Cody Good man for trying the alternative Tsection - sorry it didn't work out for you. As to your worry about the brakes on the ex-LMS 12T Van, I've just run through it again and the brakes are most certainly off throughout the train after the pick-up and recouple. Because it is working fine for m...

Re: Somerset & Dorset. Problems with Activties
Hi Cody I reckon the answer lies in your reply above. You are running this activity under Tsection 41, when it was designed to run under Tsection 38 - as I said in my earlier post. Why not try running it under Tsection 38? You've nothing to lose. Ged and myself have both run it again under the condi...

Re: Somerset & Dorset. Problems with Activties
Hi Cody I've just run it through again - checking several times using Saved Positions, just how much 3205 needs in terms of cut off and regulator - to move smoothly away from recoupling in the platform. On each occasion, with brakes fully off registering 25 inches hg on the gauge, she moved smoothly...

Re: Somerset & Dorset. Problems with Activties
Hi Again Cody "The Bason Bridge Milkie" I've just run the activity again as far as the pick-up at, and the leaving of, Glastonbury. Obviously I'm running this activity on the DVD Mini-Route version, as it doesn't appear on the Download Version on my MSTS installation anyway. I have to report no prob...

Hi Cody
Hang in there mate, I'll run it again and see if I encounter the same issue.

Re: Problems with the Bristol to Birmingham Route Activites
Hi Mike I've just run this activity again and it runs ok. I'm achieving 37 mph on the steepest part of the Licky incline. The train engine steams ok. Did you make sure Big Berthas' brakes are fully off? I don't believe your problem has anything to do with the train engine being short of water. Hope ...

Re: Problems with the Bristol to Birmingham Route Activites
Hi Mike I've just run it again. I think your problem may relate to Bertha's brakes. Her brakes are fully "off" at 143 inches hg in the brake pipe, rather than the normal 21 inches on most other engines. So I run her out of the coaling siding at Bromgrove only when she's at 143 inches, then I don't t...

Re: Problems with the Bristol to Birmingham Route Activites
Hi Cody and Ged
Ged is correct Cody. The SPAD at Bourneville is on Richard's "Southbound Pines Express" UKTS 23690 - 09 April 2010, not on yours - "Pines Express Down" UKTS 26056 - 13 March 2011.
Nice to speak to you both again,
Eric

Re: Poole Goods File ID: 27344
Hi All I loved this act when it first came out, so I was really looking forward to running it again from within the mini-route. My only mistake was made at the first drop-off, Blandford Forum, where I failed to ensure the five vans were correctly placed inside the Goods Shed. Luckily I'd made plenty...

Re: S&DJR - September 1962 Ian Allen Railtour
Hi Ged Sorry mate, I made an incorrect assumption with my earlier reply, insomuch that I mistook your lack of a "Right Away Whistle" to refer to the yard after refuelling - rather than to Templecombe Lower Station itself earlier in the activity. Like yourself, I've just run it again, as I realised I...

Re: S&DJR - September 1962 Ian Allen Railtour
Hi Ged When I ran this activity on the DVD version, I experienced no faults, blips or crashes back to the desktop. In fact it ran smoothly all the way from Hamworthy Junction to Bath MPD turntable. In the light of your initial experience, perhaps I was lucky? As to the " Right Away Whistle " at Temp...

Re: Trouble ordering S&D DVD
Hi Chaps I have just installed Clive's beautiful S&DR via the new DVD. Congratulations to UKTS as I only ordered it on Thursday, it was despatched by them on Friday and arrived here in North Wales on Saturday morning! As has been said, it installs into a mini-route, but you can decide where to put t...
