Re: NORTH WALES COAST
I am looking forward to running past my own station of Bangor.
Having seen photos, I think the old one would look better. The new one is spoilt by the A55 road overhead.

Re: One to be no more
It would be known as First Great Eastern (FGE) if First Group had won the Greater Anglia franchise.

Re: One to be no more
One's 'behind-the-scenes' name is London Eastern Railway. Why can't it be proud enough to use that as a main name? London Eastern Railway is a good name. I don't like meaningless names like 'One' and c2c. National Express East Anglia is a meaningfull name. Will 47818 stay in 'One' livery or have Co...

Makings tracks also lead the way for me. Irish Enterprise North is a great route. I've preordered Irish Enterprise South and can't wait. I also looking forward to Scottish Capital Express.

Re: Bye bye 'one'?
I think both One and c2c should be renamed as Great Eastern. It's not always all good idea to have corporate branding, because names like Virgin Trains could be anywhere. If Virgin Trains didn't exist it could be known as CrossCountry Trains or North to South Railway. West Coast Railways sounds more...

Re: Bye bye 'one'?
Have Cotswold got any plans to repaint 47818 which is currently in "One" livery? Is 47714 still in Anglia blue? First and Virgin have corporate branding schemes. All First franchises names being with First except of Transpennine Express with jointly operated by Keolis and open-access operator Hull T...

Re: Future of West Coast Railways
I have been a WCRC tour back in May 2004 from Llandudno Junction to Bath which I really hated it. It is was really slow with 57601 struggling on and we arrived in Bath 30 minutes late. The Mk1s that were used on this tour are very tatty.
I much prefer the Cotswold livery to WCRC maroon livery.
