Irish Mk3's for export?
I have read on Irish Railway News that Mk3's are in such demand there that a overseas operator is seriously looking at buying IE's (Irish Rail's) "redundant" mk3's.

There are very few class 67 enthusiasts out there but a class 67 can sell out with daytrippers.

Future of Compass Tours
With Victa Westlink Rail not operating anymore, I wonder which TOC will be operating Compass Tours in 2008? The compass tour on 8th December from Stockport to Dundee will be hauled by class 67 locomotives!! Why? Most are Compass Tours customers are daytrippers with only around 5% railway enthusiasts...

I have some ideas for actvities but I don't want to disclose them yet. Passenger services do have different stopping pattens. I remember a 37-hauled train only calling at Bangor and Llandudno Junction then Chester in the late 90s but some 37-hauled trains called at all stations between Chester and B...

I live in Bangor in Gwynedd. I like msts but the North Wales Coast which is my local route isn't available to download or buy at the moment. Im not good enough to create a route by the North Wales Coast is currently being built.
