Re: NEC Radio Chatter
No readily discernible chat, just squelch, a smattering of unclear words, certainly as mentioned ambience sounds which I found a nice addition and hope they add some varied radio traffic where used. Thanks for that I thought it was just me as if I hadnt read that there was radio chatter I would hav...

NEC Radio Chatter
Hi just bought NEC and it runs with no problems except I cant hear the radio chatter in the cab, I can hear it very muffled and broken in the background all other sounds appear bang on. I have tried various permutations of the EAX and Software mixing in the start screen. I currently have a Fatality ...

Re: Scenario Pack for the WCML - Armstrong Powerhouse
I have had my interest in RW rekindled by this great route and all the scenarios including these by Richard. The freeware/payware arguement will always divide but I have, including the route and assests spent about £40 ( I had already had most of the assets to be fair ). I have been playing RW durin...

Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....
Keith as a Glaswegian living in Carlisle since the early 90s and travelling regularly on the WCML and one of the crowd standing at the end of the Carlisle paltforms with my lad on a Saturday with his little camera, this is as near as it gets to trundelling into Carlisle and Glasgow Central at the fr...

Re: WCML Early Morning Run
Hi Chris I managed to tweak my system and get your FULL scenario working great by just dropping the water textures to low and the texture detail to med. As a complete idiot when it comes to creating scenarios ( not got the patience of you guys ) I take my hat off to the WCML route creators and your ...

Re: WCML Early Morning Run
Thanks for that advice, always thought that my rig was not top end but it could run RW and most new games including Mafia2 ramped up to high setting no problem but you were right it cant handle this scenario. Put all settings to medium and it worked perfect. I will experiment tomorrow turning things...

WCML Early Morning Run
I am having a great time with WCML and luckily all the included scenarios that I have tried are working no problem ( after having spent a fiver on the buffer set before it was out for nought ). The freeware early morning run scenario looked good and having most of the payware assets apart from TEA, ...

Re: On Steam - Events - Railworks Class 390 for RailWorks
I had the same problem with cab sound when I had both EAX and sound mixer ticked but worked perfect when EAX ticked and sound mixer unticked. Using Soundblaster X-FI Gamer in gamimg mode

Re: Camber track textures
It would be good if these textures could be packaged up into something straightforward to install, when replacing the default textures. It would really be worth the effort given the quality. I wonder if the original author's still around? I have downloaded both the original and updated files and in...

Re: Newcastle to York "Modern" - now released
I am enjoying this great route but I am having a problem with the Eaglescliffe Diversions Part 2 scenario that results in a derailment as I cross the Tyne entering Newcastle. The error box states that I have collided with A1 but there isnt another consist nearby and I am on schedule with the timetab...

Carlisle!
Hey guys, I rarely make posts of my own. I prefer to read and view the excellence and pride that other people take in theirs. However, whilst looking through a collection yesterday, I found a shed load of now considered 'old' photos of Carlisle. I am young enthusiast of the railway, hence how my pho...
