My ethos has always been "Beware graduate managers...." because they tend towards the young, thus being inexperienced and are on the bottom of the learning curve. Secondly and more importantly, they can be rude owing to a lack of what could be called "people skills" but I call prefer to term "humil...

Sometimes it isnt, eg on lighting up, but most times the fireman can open the doors/dampers/blower or not fire so much. I think black smoke is a wasteful eyesore and should be avoided at all costs. It a...

Loco Steam Brakes

Hi,
I brought this up on the narrow gauge forum, and yes i did get it from SR. I only brought it up to express my surprise that there was apparently no external money for the scheme when you consider how much is given out by the lottery etc for other causes, and not to judge the Romney.

I have been priviledged enough to be asked to write a few activities for this route, and can say that it is absolutely excellent. The stock which I have so far is the BEST msts stock I have seen in terms of realism and handling, and the detail and models are amazing. It really is worth waiting for.....

I think there is a couple of real Romney blokes on here, so... Yesterday I was reading the new SR magazine, they say the RH&D is putting in some barrier crossings, but will have to pay for them themselves and there is NO external money available? Is that really true? Just seems amazing that with all...
