Heljan being massively over priced does not make 15% less a bargain. True, but in this day and age, every penny saved helps! The price is a real barrier to my enjoyment of the hobby, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that respect. I can assure you mate, you are not alone. :( And it's about...

Considering the overpriced Heljan 47s, I think this is great value for money. Some stands were selling them for up to £80! :o Now to me, £80 is far too much, but £64.50 is ok. :) As for the DCC, I'm unsure. I know that there is a DCC funny black sleeve thingy that you have to insert before you us...

Yes it will set me back just a little bit eh?! But I'm only 17 so I'd rather spend my hard earned on models than drugs, alchohol and cigerettes! :x I too hope that Hornby do the EWS version instead of the EW&S version, as I prefer the later one. The Corus one would be great too, but then so wo...

As for the 60, I'm gonna get the Mainline blue one, the Mainline grey one and the EWS one too! 8)

Yeah I mean the new liveried ones due to be released by Bachmann this year.

They are:-

WYPTE Metro
First Keolis Transpennine Express
First ScotRail

I'm not bothered about the ScotRail one, but that one is due to be released before the others.

The lights, the livery, the shape, the detail the WHOLE DAMN THING! :D I picked one up today from Rails Of Sheffield at the Festival of British Railway Modelling in Harrogate. It was only £...

Hi Chris, Neither of the two items you have asked about have had anything done to them, except the 37 has the coupling removed at one end (not by me) and a Lima snowplough fitted (by me to tidy it up a little - looks better now.) The Bogie PTAs are in retail condition apart from one tiny chip. We we...

I wish Hornby would do replacement motors for their s**tty HSTs.

Even if they did though, it would only be to the same s**tty standards as a normal one.

That's why we have all the Lima ones instead............... :P
