Thanks for that Sam.

But I wanted to know if anyone actually carried out the transformation for you, like a service.

Thanks for that anyway! :)

NEW Bachmann Class 158s

If you look on the back cover of the latest model rail, pictures of the NEW Bachmann Class 158s are on there. They look amazing. :D Also, I was talking to a friend of mine who owns a model shop, and he has been given a list from the Bachmann rep. It says the 158s should be out by the end of this mon...

Bachmann probably haven't even started the research for them yet. Bloody useless. Why don't they just not say anything until the plans are well in advance, even right up to the production stage?!

It'll be nice to see the 158s sometime in the next century too!

They were announced in February 2005 and they were due:-

- October
- November
- December
- January
- February

And now it's changed to May and June! For God's sake! :argue:  :x :fist:

im going to add a little for my pennys worth, Renumbering is worth it wether it be a new model or not, your not actually thinking of running the same model in double header fashion are you? people will renumber a model for many reasons, perhaps they want a loco that means something to them cause th...

Re: People don't seem to try anymore!!!

I don't know about you guys but I for one am tired of going to model rail shows and paying good money to see layouts with locos and rolling stock which is straight-out-of-the-box. No attempt to renumber them and the worst part is that they don't weather them!!! We all know that locos did not stay p...

I've got a rake of 9 Blue Circle Cement Hornby VEE Tanks and although they look good, the wheel sets are far too narrow. They were derailing EVERYWHERE to start with. :x

I've had to revert back to using some old plastic sets until I can fund new ones.

This happens with my Hornby Class 50 (hate that thing), and only on one of those new Hornby controllers with the brake - HM Somethingorother. :o

It also happens to my Bachmann 66s and my new Hornby 60, but only when running very slowly.
