Re: Alexandra Palace 29th / 30th March 2008
i pasted that today it was standing there all day. Are you referring to the 317? If so, then a 317 is always booked to stabled at the stops end of Platform 8 at the weekend as it's the standby unit just in case, a unit fails so as a example you lucky buggers who have a 313 booked on the Inner Subur...

Re: Alexandra Palace 29th / 30th March 2008
Usually help is never refused. The regular team always need a break sometimes for loo and lunches. Normally any help is welcomed, unless the stand is well manned. Best just introduce yourself when you arrive and ask - i dont think they've ever turned anyone away who is genuinely there to help for t...

Re: Alexandra Palace 29th / 30th March 2008
One thing though, you can't get cd's from the UKTS stands at the shows can you? You cant buy the cd's at the shows because the team would then be classed as a trade stand and have to pay a huge amount for the stand. However the team give away hundreds of cd's for free at every show to anyone who wa...

I think so, ajax103. I think there's usually list of what's available and so if you see one you like, you can ask for it. Well the next show that I will be going to is the Eastern Festival of Railway Modelling held at the East of England Show ground in Peterborough on the 18th and 19th October so h...

Re: Alexandra Palace 29th / 30th March 2008
Meanwhile, back on terra firma. Had a good day today. Layouts really stole the show today. Saw one which I used to love from long ago so that really made my day. I went there today, saw the UKTS stand eventually, it seem to be quite busy when I went by though. One thing though, you can't get cd's f...

Re: WW II - The Fatherland
Would be better and easier if the author of the route/activities did a UKTS cd as well as the download.... I don't suppose anyone has the files already if they could email them across, reason being is: From http://www.mikemad.de/msts.htm: ---------------------------- bivh_21.zip BR01H21.zip br078_10...
