I can understand that the 10kb limit on avatars saves bandwidth and all, but couldn't we have a slightly more leniant limit on avatars hosted off-site. I have tried and tried and i can't get my images down to 10kb, taking pics of trains with a 10mp digital camera makes this impossible, i even joking...
