Re: Oxford route
Been following this thread for a while now, silently over there in the corner watching and listening
Just noticed how quiet it's been, any updates Michael?
Hope it's all going well still.

Re: Troubles with EB's WCE
Yes Alan i understand why you put it in your list, and as i saidm i thougbti had already taken care of the tsection.dat, or i would never have bothered posting for helpon here. I use this forum as a literal last resort for help or suggestions if im stuck. :) And Steve i hear you mate. Although i've ...

Re: Troubles with EB's WCE
Right well, after some fiddling around i've got the lil bleeder working  It was infact my tsection.dat file which i'd somehow thought i had installed, and hadn't. :( So for that i'd like to thank gswindale. :) And for reference, my tsection is 3.89MB. My computer seems to be too damn posh to wo...

Re: Troubles with EB's WCE
With respect Alan, WCE being a commercially available route, none of the above should be needed :o however gave it a shot anyways and still nothing. Same crash, same place. Only thing i don't have is routeriter, and to be honest i don't think i want it. I saw routeriter once before IIRC, and everyth...

Troubles with EB's WCE
Hiya folks. :) After some emmence troubles with my original installation of MSTS, i have had to strip it out and start over, which i;m not too worried about as it's been a long time coming. However, i had some problems with EB's West Coast Express once before as i mentioned on another thread, and si...

Re: Activity Creation Headache!
I found Briscard an excellent route to work with, and to look at. Having written many activities for that route myself, i do remember many pathing issues i needed to get my head around and sort out especially with the steam excursion i did. Most of the time though as described above in davejc64's po...

Re: Expressboy's Upcoming Activities...
Hiya David. :) While your above comment does work, and is a quick and easy solution to the sound issues, to make things a little easier for the users of the activity i have split the activity in two parts. Ultimately the saving before Basford hall, and reloading would probably only cause issues, and...

Re: Error message regarding player path on new activity
Hi David. :) Go back to the Activity Editor, re-load your activity and rather than change anything, click 'Tools' and hit 'Varify Starting State'. This will load any AI you have local to the player consist, and you should be able to figure out whats wrong from there. :) Post any update back in here ...

Re: Problem downloading at the moment
That'll be because with FF you don't need to right click and Save Target As.. As FF saves downloads directly to your desktop by default. :) Unless you tell it to do otherwise of course... When i used to use Safari and IE, i always had to right click and save target as, tbh i only got FF because im l...

Re: Thames Mersey Route Learning - activity released!
Have to say, I tested two other 'Route Learning' activities of James' last night, and one the night before. Might not sound like the kind of activity which everyone will download, but it does help :o Since day one of me playing MSTS, i've always had F4, F5, F6 and F10 open. Since running these activ...

Re: Expressboy's Upcoming Activities...
...And in light of the above i'm now considering splitting the activity in two. I am awaiting feedback from Superhoops to see how he got on, but if he reports the same issue, then i shall split the activity in two for sure. In which case you will run from Euston to Stafford in part 1, and then in pa...

Re: Expressboy's Upcoming Activities...
The activity has been made from everything but CD stock. Mainly because the stock on the CD has been seen time and time again and this time in light of some recent conversations on here, i wanted to make some activities for TM using no CD stock at all. Not because i don't like the stock, or t...
