Great Eastern use X Tracks don't it? Anyone know of a idiot guide to replace the ECE track with the GE track please? GE uses UKFS, completely new track system by Tim Booth - accurate too! Chris 8) So if I was going to use the UKFS track system, it would involve me ripping out all the trackwork in E...

Fortunately there are no mountains in Kent, but enough rolling hillside to warrant the use of DEM I think. How far is it from Tonbridge to Ashford, about 23 miles? You Obviously haven't seen the local Crumpet  Darren Home of the LCDR Crumpets are flat - I've just eaten one. Not so sure about t...

Hi, Excellent news! I always thought that St Pancras was a bit of a forgotten London terminus for MSTS. For example: Kings Cross: ECE, Mid East Liverpool St: GE Fenchurch Street: C2C route (still being worked on) Cannon Street: LSE Charing Cross: LSE Waterloo: DC Victoria: LSC Paddington: P2P Maryl...

Well I managed to rename the new files to the same filename as the originals and with the same encoding settings, only problem now is in external view it sounds like I'm driving a Ferry and not a 365. Any idea on how to rectify this please? Did you ever get this one sorted??? Darren Home of the LCDR

Re: Southeastern Mainline Part 1: Tonbridge to Ashford
As well as my Midland Mainline project which is my major one at the moment(and the one I'm devoting most of my time too), I am also developing this one as well. This is a route designed to tie in with London and South East by Making Tracks, with the route starting in Tonbridge and finishing at Ashf...

Hi Darren Reading both the UKTS & TS.com Forums there appear to be problems running Activities with the EMU's although I believe these are overcome by pressing the Z key upon starting the EMU's as a Player Loco. As I am actively involved with testing both Commercial & Freeware Activities I have dec...

I have locked the thread in Gen MSTS Discussion as there is little point having 2 threads discussing the same thing and people crossposting saying go look in the other one. Matt is looking into the problem, PLEASE BE patient. I put that one there, sorry didn't think to look here. :o Darren Home of ...

Re: Weymouth Activity 1,2,3
Hi, I am having trouble running these activities. I have installed the locos, cabs, sounds and coaches, installed the 3 activities and run them through Train Sore. The 1st one loads up and when I leave Southampton, I reached about 23mph and the game freezes. I am running Train Sim on Vista, but if ...

Lower Hutt Valley Route
Just downloaded this route and the 5th part "NZ-Lower Hutt Valley Route [20974086 bytes] - NZ_LHV_File_5.zip File ID: 17117 Date: 25 Jul 2007 ", which should be 20 Mb is only 64kb and is corrupted. Anybody else had this problem, or is it just me (normally is)

The objects colliding message usually means loose consists are on top of each other etc. Try opening the AE on its own, (New act as opposed to load an activity), untick everything on the "view" tab then exit. Then go into your Display properties and change the video settings from 32 to 16 bit, and t...
