Re: RW2 : The Unhappy Thread

I was going to install RW2 tonight but after reading both this and the 'Happy' thread I think I'll leave it at 108.b at the moment. My only concern is that future rolling stock will not run unless the latest update is applied and My installation of RW is reasonably useable, some scenario's don't wor...

Re: Railworks 2: Train Simulator

I like the way the Email says that it is the most significant advance in Train Simming in over a decade with such features as Operational Level crossings....MSTS has had them since 2002! I'm not trying to start a flame war but we've all been here before when RS became RW, forked out £30 quid for wha...

Re: My first go at route building - London to Ramsgate!!

And here's 3 screenshots as I promised a while ago. (I didnt pay my bill and got disconnected from the 'net for a week!!) The route is not exact, I have had to make some small compromises, mostly due to the restrictions and available track sections within RE. I.E: some curves have been 'straightene...

Re: My first go at route building - London to Ramsgate!!

I went past the site of Snowdon a couple of weeks ago and apart from one old building the entire site has been grassed over and planted with trees. Amazing how 'Natural' the site is now. I'm not sure which pit the Coal trains that went past my place were from, whitstable up, but it used to be Sunday...

Re: My first go at route building - London to Ramsgate!!

Glen I live in Herne Bay and I'm not too busy these days, if you need any photos of stations, infrastructure &c between Faversham and Ramsgate, Dover then I'd be quite happy to go out with my Camera and grab a few. Are you doing the Dover branch as Snowdon Colliery would be great to include. I remem...

Re: End of EB?

I'm sure some people will gladly welcome this news. I hope you don't mind me asking but what about that LSC extension you were doing a while back? Isn't that a small enough project that could be completed as well? I too was looking forward to this. I hope this can be fitted in as well? i think the ...

Re: My first go at route building - London to Ramsgate!!

Now trying to do Faversham junction - WoW, thats giving me some headaches! Think there going to be quite a few compromises here.................. Are you gonna put in the Creek branch. I must say I can't wait for this one as I'm from here. Are modelling Faversham before or after the 1983 Rationalis...

Re: 1970's GE2

That would be late 50's early 60's when 40's ruled the Liverpool Street Norwich services, In the 70's 40's were only found on the Harwich Branch on Speedlinks to/from Whitemoor, Bathgate and Mossend with the odd showing on the Manchester to Harwich boat train. 40058. That's what I meant :) as they ...

............And whilst I'm at it, more knackered, clattering smoke belching ozone depleters! Too blooming right. How one of those mobile Bonfires, sorry I mean Claytons or a BTH Type 1 with knackered Fan bearings and a blown Head Gasket, that'd make me ecstatic :o And a Thumper set would be lovely ...
