Worth pointing out that on two occassions, installing routes (ECE-1 and LSE) I have had MSTS performance drop noticeably. Is this on one loco or all of them? If it's one, then it could just be a corrupted .wav file that has gained some silence at the end of the loop. If you install one of the Camhacks, you can move the "4" camera. Can't get it to stay put but. I'm investigating editing the camcfg files myself to see what can be done for "4". I wish it would start miles away, but it seems that makes it go bonkers (from the readmes with camhack anyway).

yes, other trains are usually only present in an activitiy.

try selecting that act for play in trainstore and running MSTS. If you were playing another route in the meantime, mayhaps TS swapped that act out?

the 6 minute load sounds like you are not using trainstore. This may be the root of many troubles, though I can't think how it would cause missing files.
