Re: Grumpy Old Men - again

I smell a con here. If we all used the new bulbs to save enery. We would still not match what is wasted in shops and car park lighting on 24hrs a day. And what about all those lamps up trees.
This move is tied up more in the big money camp.

Re: Coals to Hove - An Activity for the Steyning Line Route

Golly thats an old one but I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I was going to do a few for that line but my copy of the route was a development copy before issue and there were so many problems around Hove that I gave up in the end. I don't have the route any more :( I believe they fixed all the bugs :) You...

Re: Coals to Hove - An Activity for the Steyning Line Route

Hi all. Bit of a bump I know but I didn't want to fragment the route posts. I was wanting a new activity to play with, after not downloading any activities for ages because of the bind in finding and getting everything required to work. Thought I'd try one of Laurie's. Found there was 46 to choose f...

Seriously though it's a nice song, that I've kept in my favorites list for some time now.
Very comforting on my down days.

Re: What's happening outside your house???

Not a lot. Hardly any traffic still. I expect a lot of people of still off until Monday. Christmas seems to be two full weeks off these days. It's very cold but as 'dorlan' posted, the grass is still growing. I have even got four of last years polyanthus in full bloom out front. While on the rockery...

Hi. I can add two pennyworth here.
Very important that you backup files before altering or installing anything else.
Get one thing working at a time.
Learnt that the hard way.

Re: Grumpy Old Men - again

Right outside my house there is a car parked with one wheel on the kerb. Not much too right home about you might think. But its on the pedestrian crossing and the traffic can't pass without going up the wrong side of the island. Trouble is they keep knocking on my door as If it's mine. I getting to...
