Re: Download Amount (Poll)

Yes I must put my hand up here and vote 41. I recently downloaded forty one files to get CC5 Activity's to run as written. I had downloaded the route and one Act, then one thing led to another. Looking back, it's always easier, I should have just brought the Disc. Now it all runs Ok, I'm enjoying CC...

Re: CC5 upgrade

Hi there The download version of CC5 is identical to the version on CD. the only difference is you have to make sure you have make sure you have any extra file programes installed to run the route for example:- Xtracks and an up to date Tsection file. For the CC5 upgrade you will need New Roads 4 a...

Re: CC5 upgrade

Hi All. Can anyone give me a clue on this. Or is the downloaded version off CC5 not updatable? I downloaded the route CC5 (UKTS 16999 to 17003) back in January along with some of the shunting activities. Once I amassed the stock it runs AOK. Now having downloaded the update CC5v2 (UKTS 18817) and in...

Re: What's happening outside your house???

Hi. 5 inches of snow here near the North downs. No busses, schools closed.
Outside side my window the 4x4s are passing by very slowly. Why?
Don't these women know how to engage four wheel drive, or don't they even know they have it.

Golden Arrow at Redhill

Hi. Today (24th.Jan 2009) I caught up with the "Golden Arrow", Tangmere with the arrows on. Stood in minus 2degrees just outside Redhill in Surrey for about half an hour. Then along it came, WOW, a lot quieter then I expected all clean and looking great.Gone in a flash but the memory will last for e...

Hi Doug. I visited this railway last year. Your route is so wonderfully realistic I can almost smell it. It will indeed be something special.

:fist: :fist: used to show up a lot in fun posts like "caption fun" .It was always used in fun never malice. No harm in it as far as I can see. Can't wrap everyone in cotton wool. Would it be better pink instead of Cyan?

Re: Grumpy Old Men - again

It's the irresponsible media that has got me stamping around today. Here they go, stirring it up again. I think they try to make the news not just report on it. It's young prince Harry's private friendly remark on his home video thats got me going. Caused no problem, in context with his mates, but n...

Re: Northern Route

Hi Craig. In my case, I only had two acts to run instead of the four.
It was due to my missing consists. When I reinstalled the 1973 tube stock everything worked fine.
Nice route. Enjoying this one.

Re: Grumpy Old Men - again

It looks like a lot of people went out, like Laurie, and stocked up with the old normal bulbs, because on the news today theres been a run on them and the shelves are bare. With such low interest on our savings now, put a few cases down for later. Eventually they will show a profit on Ebay. HE He. e...
