Re: Train sim 'magazine'
Still waiting on Murray's articles. Basically Issue 7 will be December and the Xmas special will be mi-Dec now.
This is the problem with a voluntary magazine, and is why I have been seriously looking at starting charging 10p a time and paying all contributors for what we use.

Re: Train sim 'magazine'
Yeah, it will be free, and luckily my driving instructor is saying that he won't charge for the next one either.
Should be within 3 working weeks, apparently. Not blaming anyone - but it's entirely the government's fault

Re: Train sim 'magazine'
Thanks all However, when we rolled up at Watford shortly after 8am (having been picked up over an hour earlier), we made our way to the test centre where I was told that there was no examiner for me. After hours of over-thinking the test (which I am very, very prone of!) being told I couldn't event ...

Re: Your thoughts for Train Sim Convention 2008
Just a quick press release-styled thing to give you all an idea of plans: -------------- BucksTS officially announced the 2008 Train Simulator Convention on Monday November 5th, following speculation about the future of the event. The March 2007 show, staged in Amersham, will be used as a base-model...

Re: Train sim 'magazine'
Glad you enjoy it!
You won't like our Christmas issue then paper wise - but I guess you don't have to print out the calendar supplement.
Sorry about the delays with this one - we are all very busy at the moment (schoolwork, and - in my case - a driving test tomorrow....)

Re: Train sim 'magazine'
Thanks.
Bob, I'm not sure if I should take that as a complement - or whether I should cut all future issues down????

Yeah for some reason when I copied the hyperlink it broke.
Scroll back to page 13 (only the page before this one) and have a read - one of my posts has the unbroken link
Best

I'll be there on Sunday. I'll probably bring along a copy of Groudle plus a set of preview shots of a couple of other projects

For issue 6, try using this link:
http://stmarysamersham.co.uk/Documents/ ... dition.pdf
Hopfully it'll work. If not, I'll see if I can get around the previous freewebs access problems and upload No. 6 with No. 7

Re: Train sim 'magazine'
Well, Andrew knows better than myself if this is true. We have a number of problems, including a delayed article, plus non -TSM commitments mean it will be the weekend, at least, before this is out.
Sorry for the delays.

Re: Flight & Train Simming Convention
Thanks, Dave, that makes sense.
Our TSC will be grately improved for 08, work has already started. It will be more about targeting the average railway enthusiast this year, which will hopefully avoid being seen as such a specialist event.
