Seven eight car Meridians could replace nearly half of the MML 125 fleet of 13 or allow for some growth, and massively reduce the age profile of the fleet. And be another sad kick in the teeth for HST 2. Just as a note, I was only reporting what I had read to see what other members say, I was not s...

There's a picture at the bottom of this page.
I hope the train doesn't forget where it is and folds them down at Waterloo by mistake or there might be a bit of a crunch.

I recon the SRA will dump them in the sea at night and pretend they never existed.

I'll take 2 please, oh and 1 for the road! Infact, I have a friend who needs one aswell, so I'll have 4. But before I sign:
What sort of M.P.G am I looking at?
What insurance group are they?
What’s the delivery cost to Sheffield?

A vast a welcome improvement to the class 170, I'm sure they won't be missed by anyone at Hull Trains as long as the 222's are reliable and no doubt Hull Trains will see even more passengers through extra publicity and improved journey times. All in all a good move, and from a standard class point o...

I really doubt that they would de-electrify the route north of Newcastle, it would deem the class 91's rather pointless and would require passengers already on a long journey changing trains. Re-electrifying the line would make more sense.

I doubt they'd need to run together if they are 9 car sets, lol... Doh! It was too early in the morning to engage the brain and I had yet to have my caffeine. The small article said in Modern Railways that the cost of gauge conversion would be very low, it hasn't yet been done and that’s if Moder...

Virgin can get Meridians but they wouldn't be able to run togeather as something like only 20% of the computer sofeware in a Voyager is the same as a Meridian. Werid.

A disgrace and a waste of money, do you think the units will sell for the same amount that was paid for them? Even if they did, what about the Post and Packaging. It’s a shame they can’t flog that beautiful Moor Street Station to the Irish as well, at least then it would have been used.

The Futures Dark, The Furtures Guinness for Meridians

Okay maybe this has already been mentioned but he's what I read in Aprils Modern Railways that found its way to my doorstep this morning. Apparently they will be used to enhance the Cork - Dublin and Dublin - Belfast services. The 9 car sets will be shortened to 8 coaches and MML will use the spare ...

Maybe its not wise to say you dont pay here this is a "hobby" site, and is open to everyone, there may even be members of the BTP here or even the police. All im saying is Dont say you dont pay, it'll catch up with you one day. A fair and good point, and when this sort of thing happens I wish I had...

Yes your right, they did have a 'Hot Set', I watched it leave Derby empty at about 15:50, so they knew at 15:50 that the 16:07 wasn't going onwards to Sheffield. They didn't have a go at me, but I hate to me told its my fault for missing it when I didn't. I would get my money back, but I don't pay. ...

Bit off topic... Did anybody see that 'one' class 90 without the rainbow stripes in 'Rail'? I hate to be a hypocrite, but it does look rather boring.

Midland Mainline... Liars!

Long Story Short: I turned up to Derby for the 16:07 from London to Sheffield and found it to be shown as 15minutes late. Double-checking that the 16:07 was still only running 15minutes late I watched the now full and standing 16:15 Virgin Voyager leave. I checked the train time again (Now 16:25 off...
