Thank you for very nice report.

I'm not happy to hear about superelevation and catenary things. ZUSI 3 (almost one-man-band sim) has both solved as very elegant solution. Was any cab jostling been seen while driving a train? I assume you did not notice any superelevation in curves.

Try http://imageshack.us for image uploading. Upload selected image and then copy-paste last given url on the page of an uploaded image. @jamesbolton: >>> I can see what you mean about it appearing to be leaning, however, what is a little worrying is that it looks like its leaning to the wrong side!...

More I look at the first picture I posted, more I think, that catenary wires bend in curves and not on poles.
So much speaking about right physics in new simulator and yet elementary problems are not solved. Bad bad ... :-?

You translated correctly, but necessary conversion program will probably not be written by Kuju. Converting models should not be difficult, because MSTS shape format is well known, and if Kujus new format is open also, then I don't see problems as long as there are some voluntary capable programmers...

I don't know is it allowed or not, but I'll try: This is one with supposed superelevation/cant in the curve. Also, is it just me or catenary wires really bend in turns rather on catenary poles? http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/9050/gr02ri1.jpg Splendid Track Monitor, also pines in forest on left s...

If you can read german, here are some informations and screenshots from Dortmund: http://forum.german-railroads.com/de/thread.php?threadid=8788&sid= There is a single screenshot of the DB BR 101 which travels at 80 km/h but (unfortunately) the power and AFB controller handles are in null position. ...

Some info from the google translations: According to data of the creator old vehicles with an appropriate conversion program can be used further in the KRS At the key allocation it is beautiful that nearly all functions from the MSTS key assignment remained I must say that that sounds all super The...

Probably he means that. Still, this didn't impress me, BVE swaying and tilting is still much more realistic (and you can admit, that it is far from real world, but still ...)

I hope, that mentioned 50 m limit for showing grass and most detailed trees is not hardcoded like 2000 m object distance in MSTS.

Computers get better faster than we get new train simulators.

Then you have the choice, don't get the best out of KRS, or wait for MSTS-X which will run on standard hard and software. Oh really? So MSTS-X will run on my old dusty P200 with 4 MB ATI graphic card? No, it won't. If there is a defect equipment in your computer, Kuju is not responsible for t...

Hi Did you read the original post. I think he's saying that onboard sound cards that support EAX, have found to be flawed. Obviously if you haven't got it, you can't play it.. Cheers Jon Sure, but when reading first post, I think Kuju has got nothing with it. It's not a Kuju thing at all. It'...

A lot of laptops don't have sound cards....and as I posted above I don't on my desktop either. It's like graphics. If your sound card or sound chip won't support EAX sound, then you won't hear the benefits of not using it. You will still hear sounds, probably much better quality than in MSTS, but w...

Interesting. Almost no track sounds to be heard. Only machines and compressors and cab jostling.

Re: Me Or New News

Quote from Wiki: Kuju announced Rail Simulator will also feature two routes in the United States.[9] The content of these routes is unknown.
