He speaks about core physics of simulator, not particular physics of some locomotive.

havent we been told yet the minimum specs needed to run KRS? i hope some sorrt of info is released soon regarding that. I don't see any necessity to know about minimum specs until Rail Simulator is actually released. Why would you buy adequate computer right now rather the same (and cheaper) comput...

Yes, easements between different slope gradients would be nice. In real life easement between two different slope gradients is usually circular arc with fixed radius (which depends on design speed). In my opinion, this shouldn't be difficult to program. But as I understand, usage of those easements ...

2048? Waste of resources.
One 2048 sized texture is the equivalent of four 1024 sized textures yet it compresses down to about half the total kb's compared to four compressed 1024 textures!
Yes, on a disk. In graphic card memory texture is however used uncompressed, so you need more memory.

I'd rather see 10 stunning than 100 average models. :D

There's no doubt that KRS shadows will be much better than in MSTS.

Is it just me, or does it appear the closer KRS gets to release, the more it looks like Trainz? And what would be wrong about it? Trainz apart from rolling stock looks generally better than bland MSTS, so I don't see any problem at that. Try that with MSTS: http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/...

I think someone did take screenshot of route editor with highlighted superelevation icon, probably from Leipzigshow. It was on this forum, I think.

But what's really missing is superelevation / cant - especially if you think about the phys(x)ics system on KUJUs flags. For me, better physics in a rail simulator of course implies superelevation, tensed catenary wires, hight-following pantographs and so on. It's a must. Lets hope all of this at l...

Maybe you missed my question ...
Did you see any sign of superelevation/cant in curves?
Did you notice any train or cab jostling while driving?

I've seen a photo of a running KRS (probably "Leipzig version") on a wide screen (sorry, can't find it now), so I think it's not forgotten (like in some other EA titles).
