Regarding "Multiple Track Rules"

If you've laid, and mixed a couple of different track rule tracks, like yard (15 mph) and mainline (70 mph) and then wanted to place a slower speed board, and set it to 20 mph, approaching a station stop, say, but when the fly-out box comes up, and you want to enter the 20 mph speed limit into it, a...

Re: Just Asking...

Hmmm... I've just tried the "flying out to each successive station you want to add to the stopping list" and clicking on the centre post in the middle of the platforms after clicking on the green plus sign to add the next station. It works for me alright, although all this "flying out" is a bit mono...

Re: Class 55 Cabview Adjustments

Hi, I may be wrong but I think the Blue Deltic file covers the Green one as well. I only used the Blue Deltic one and ignored the Green Deltic File and both seem to have the correct altered view. I think the green cab is aliased to the blue one. Regards James. Hi there... If that's the case, I thin...

Class 55 Cabview Adjustments

I downloaded the file recently, that allows you to have a "seat height adjustment" for the Deltic diesels, allowing you to see out the front windscreen far better than the default view allowed, and this suits me just fine. That is, with the blue Deltic, but with the green one, this is where my probl...

Re: Does anyone know how to change this ?

I complained about this with the 08 Class, and it is still the same with the 66 - For users with both the US and the EU version installed, and if they installed the US version last, then that is where the Registry points. The installer then installs the 08 or 66 directly into the U.S. version of RS...

Does anyone know how to change this ?

I downloaded the Class 08 pack a while ago, and as I have both the UK & USA versions of Rail Simulator on this computer, and can install those files that are able to be used on both versions without trouble, using the Package Manager to route the install to the correct version, but with the Class 08...

Just Asking...

I'm curious to know if any others out there, who are into creating timetabled or otherwise, scenarios, have had any consistent trouble with trying to add stops to a passenger train's list of stopping stations after creating a route, or just partially finishing it. This is where you bring up the fly-...

Re: Asked once before & got no response...

Hiya, You asked the same quesiton on the US forum, which I answered only a few hours later. http://forums.flightsim.com/vbts/showthread.php?t=271049 Hi there... Yep, I did do that. I reckon the more places you leave the question, the more answers you get to it, and it's interesting to see the varie...

Re: Asked once before & got no response...

I guess on Y junctions, they declare one path the "normal/straight/direct" path an that one has no feather. Anyway, I am pretty sure that in all cases, you have one feather less than the number of paths through a junction, because there is always one normal path for which none of the feathers are l...

Re: Asked once before & got no response...

Sorry Jim, I moved the thread in here and then forgot to let you know. You have an answer now, I hope? Regards, Moderator Mike Hi there... No worries, as I was a little ignorant of this Signalling thread. But I've just posted another message in the route-building forum, to do with creating a three-...

Buffer stops

I never thought I'd be coming back to this subject, as I imagined I was over it all at this stage, not having to worry about this sort of thing for a while now, but I was looking into more intricate trackwork, and in particular, three-way junctions. I recalled I had a number of short videos showing ...

Asked once before & got no response...

Can some knowledgeable British Subject please tell me as regards the British colour light signals in KRS, the ones with feathers that look like a 'Y' - well, there's four (as far as I know) track links after you place the signal at a junction. The first one goes as usual, in front of the signal itse...

Re: Missing station names...

I believe RSDL have hinted that they are going to add more functionality to the 2d map like being able to jump to a train by clicking on it as well as a few more things. I am not quite sure if jumping to a location was one of them but it might have been. John Hi John.... And don't we bloody WISH, e...

Re: Missing station names...

If you are talking about the search destination function that is within the pick up and stop at instructions then what you are seeing is how it works. It doesn't give you a list of all destinations, it only gives you destinations around the loco you are adding instructions to. In its current form I...

Missing station names...

I've been creating a new route as a test of adding passenger stations one after the other, and setting the stops for a particular train on the fly-out at the right. So far, four stops all showed up in the fly-out list and allowed me to add them to the stopping list for the Next Destination list with...
