even with a 128mb graphics card and 512 ram LSE still has a habit of stuttering in certain areas, they must have developed this add on a main frame the size of NASA's, mind you the attention to detail is stunning, everytime I go on it I notice something different.

a lot of the problems i have are with lse and the brighton add on pack, I only wish it would run on my new machine but just wont, I think I will upgrade the mobo and get a 2.5 or 3 gig chip, this should help...hopefully...what is the resolution most people run msts on...

I found when using my laptop that exactly the same thing happened as my laptop was overheating, I fixed this by getting a laptop cooler which I got from http://www.savastore.com this keeps it cool as really laptops are not meant for prolnged use....

does anybody know which seems to be the best graphics card for MSTS and add ons to run smoothly.....

I have now give up trying to get MSTS to run on my new system and bought a lower spec system just for MSTS to run on, sounds a bit extreme I know but I am having withdrawal symptoms, so hopefully when its delivered everything should be ok....

the Pc. I am trying to run MSTS on is brand new, all up to date on everything, graphics, motherboard, chipset drivers, sound card drivers, everything. I have even tried installing MSTs without settle to carlisle and innsbruck routes as these seemed to be the worst but it still crashes and loops. bee...

I think I have found the problem it is the hyper threading on the new prescott P4 chips, the chip is not 64bit so thats not the problem.I think I will look for an older machine just for the train sim to run.
