Re: Hey, This Is Good...

Vern,

You might also like to try the Oropa Tram, a short, Italian early 1900's hill-climbing tramway that really does feel as if you're clinging to a cliff edge...

Re: Sandymill for openBVE WIP

I must say that these screenies are looking very nice...

I've never run the "original" route, so I'm quite looking forward to this new version...

Re: Open BVE / Trainsimcentral.co.uk down?

All is working well for me...

How do you access the internet? Sometimes my wireless router takes a dislike to some sites and I have to reboot it.

December's edition of BVE Scene has been published. As usual, it contains the latest updates from BVE Pages . There's been quite a bit of activity in the last few weeks! Re: Object Converter Won't Start

Hi, If I recall correctly, you simply "drag and drop" the file you wish to convert onto the program's icon, and it does the rest.... There is a much better tool, though. Sandford Mace's Object Convertor does B3D to CSV, and CSV to B3D. It also allows you to produce a "mirror image" of an object, or ...

Re: BVE Scene No 5: Barrow - Sellafield republished

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Geoff. The link appears to have become broken some time after 1800hrs GMT Thursday. I have repaired the link this morning (0916 GMT). From BVE Pages, I can get to BVE Scene No 5 no problem, and can navigate to No 3 from there (drop down box at the foot of th...

Re: Bve Route Developer Reference

There are a number of places where you can find information. I've gathered together links to some of them here. The BVE 2 Coding Guide lists most of the commands. There were then additional commands for BVE 4. Dennis Lance's Guide to Route Building is a very good set of tutorials that covers most of...

Re: Edinburgh-Aberdeen OpenBVE route

Hello again, Few people managed to get RB's 3D viewer to work properly... it was very much hit-and-miss... Although I was very much an advocate of RB some years ago, when I discovered how easy coding by hand is, I haven't gone back to RB at all. Remember that RB was built long before openBVE appeare...

BVE Scene No 5: Barrow - Sellafield republished

November's edition of BVE Scene has been published. As usual, it contains the latest updates from BVE Pages. It gives me great pleasure to be able to re-publish Derek Kaye's Barrow - Carlisle pt 2 route, which runs up the Cumbrian coast from Barrow as far as Sellafield. This route was last updated i...

... which doesn't answer the other questions I asked!

Do you get any error messages reported?

Have you downloaded and installed the BRSigs pack?

Re: Edingburgh-Aberdeen Missing Semephore Signal Posts

Dear ABZScotrail170 , Which version are you running - BVE 4 or openBVE? Do you see any error messages when you load the route? A common reason for missing signals is not having the BRSigs pack from trainsimcentral properly installed in your objects folder - it might be worth checking that you've got...

BVE Scene No 4: Tyne Valley v2 completed

The fourth edition of BVE Scene has been published. As usual, it contains the latest updates from BVE Pages. Our biggest news is that Tyne Valley version 2 has been completed. Sixteen different runs model most of the stopping patterns between Carlisle and Sunderland. Runs include the diverted HST sc...
