My favourite kind of kettle : a GW 42xx. Specifically 4247 which was on a short visit to the AVR, I took the photo in between blagging a cab ride.

Hi Vern I'm Clay's wife and I am a lecturer in theatre practice as well as a nurse with lots of years experience in caring for parients undergoing anaesthesia. Many people who's last experience of an anaesthetic was quite a long time ago express the same anxieties as you. People who have had a "gas"...

While it's not entirely to scale (ie it's actually I believe 'HO', on which I stand to be corrected!), for convenience I personally think you can't beat good old Peco flexi. If you do eventually go for that, it would be an idea to in invest in some Xuron track cutters for when you cut the flexi leng...

I had alot of the original books as a child which I absolutely loved, does any one remember a tale about narrow gauge engines?. It's all a little hazy now but did these have their own names or were they based on the Talyllyn?...or am I thinking about some thing else entirely? :o PS. Everybody knows ...
