Best HST

In my opinion the best HST comes with the Scotish Central CD (which can be bought from this site). The cab view and sound quality is near perfect. 8)

I can`t stop

The class 67 is an air braked loco so it will not apply the brakes on vac braked stock.

Arriva Wales to use 57s??

Have heard a rumour that as of this coming Wednesday the following ATW diagram will go over to a 57/3 and LHCS. This is due to continued problems with the 175s. 1H44 0637 Bangor - Man Picc, 1D37 1003 Man Picc - Holyhead, 1H52 1335 Holyhead - Man Picc, 1D46 1741 Man Picc - Chester. Apparently Chester...

47145 & 47355 at Rugby

47145 & 47355 worked a test train to Rugby today. I managed to get three shots of it which have come out ok despite rain and poor light. They are in the Test Train gallery... http://joe-bloggs-railway-photos.fotopic.net/c674849.html Home pages for my two sites are.... http://joe-bloggs-railway-photo...

Closure of the Asfordby/Old Dalby Test Track

I read in The Times yesterday that the Asfordby Test Track/Centre is to finally close in Jan 2006. It`s been nearly a year since the last Pendolino finished its fault free milage accumilation although one or two have been back since for the odd mod/tests. Alstoms Tony Mercado said that they even off...

Fuji S5600??

Anyone got a fuji S5600?? It gets some pretty good reviews but wondered how good it was for taking shots of trains at speed when the light isn`t so good and night shots etc. Can you manually choose a shutter speed? Can you zoom in on a picture you`ve taken, centre it and the take a picture of the pi...

Battlefield Line photo locations?

Next Fri(28 Oct) there`s a 47 out at the Battlefield Line.

Is it any good for photos? Any decent places for lineside shots?

Dorset Coast CD...

Any idea when the Dorset Coast will be out on CD?

Also what loco`s will it have? Will there be a 33/1 and 4TC that works in push pull mode?

If these questions have been asked before I appologise.

Regards

Train crashes

Hi all, I`m in need of a bit of help. Just made an activity for Scots Central. However, when trains pass I get train crashes even though they are on the opposite lines. I recall someone saying it was because train sim thinks the loco`s are wider than they are. Is there a way of stopping this happeni...
