Hi,
Oh well, thanks anyway, luckily I hadn't done too much work on it, but it is a bit of a pain though.

Re: Missing terrain
Hi Terry,
Yes, I think that I have. But maybe not, perhaps I should reload it and reinstall MSTS Bin Patch to see if that makes any difference.

Missing terrain
Hi, I am sure that this has been on here before, but I cannot find it. I am trying to build the route around Chester and have been away from it for a while. Now when I load the route there is no terrain at all, the markers are there but everything else is white. I am sure that I remember seeing how ...

Re: Key sequence to change to rear loco cab
Hi Doug and Chris, I must have been getting confused with Rail Simulator about changing ends then, it's old age (rust in the brain! ) I un-installed the MSTSbin patch and re-installed it, and I am now able to change ends. I think that I made the mistake of installing the bin patch before inst...

Re: Key sequence to change to rear loco cab
Hi Doug and Chris, I don't remember anything about a .bin file, but I have loaded it and created the rv.cvf files as told. However, still no luck when I followed Chris's suggestions. I have tried a 37 and a 158 without success. I am sure that I used to be able to change cabs before! I used to drive ...

Key sequence to change to rear loco cab
Hi, I have just reloaded MSTS so that I can use the North Wales Coast route, but I cannot find any key sequence to press to change from the front driving cab to the rear cab (i.e. changing ends.) I am sure that I used to be able to do this, but now can find no reference to it. I carried out a search...

Re: Marker file problems
Hi Andy, Yes, please that would be good, if you look at my file then perhaps you will be able to work it out for me. I am really having trouble with Rail Sim at least with MSTS I was able to create a rough route even if it didn't have stations on it! I even managed to import DEM's so they scenery lo...

Re: Marker file problems
Hello Andy, There appear to be only three columns. I have edited the filed and removed all of the inverted commas, but it still says the same when I try to export the file. Could it be that I haven't created the folder that Blueprint is trying to export the file to? Perhaps I am doing things in the ...

Re: Marker file problems
Hi Andy, Nevertheless it is very good of you to help. I have created my marker.csv and am now trying to use the Blueprint Editor to import it into Rail Sim. However, I have now come up against another problem! When I try to export from Blueprint Editor I get the error message "Unexpected num of para...

Re: Marker file problems
Hi Andy,
Once again thanks, you have come up trumps again! I have downloaded KML/CSV Converter and done the conversion, and am now downloading Open Office.
It is wonderful to have such helpful people who are so willing to offer their help and knowledge to we dumbo's.
Thanks once again,
Nick

Re: Marker file problems
Hi, I have followed the instructions in "Rail Simulator – Route Marker Creation" to place markers on Google Earth, but I don't understand how to save the markers that I have placed. It says, "right click on the folder they are located in and select ‘Save As’." I can't seem to find a folder and all o...
