Route Extensions
One for the RSDL guys I think - I was having a go on the Sunday Diversion scenario, and realised that all the time I've been playing RS, I'd never been south of York (not that there's far to go!). So this got me thinking, is it: a) possible to extend the default routes, so for instance go South to D...

Re: Sunday diversion
My thanks go to MikeMKD and Squatch who have tested a revised .rpk file and report that it now works. I have uploaded a revised file to the library and advise everyone who has downloaded this file to re-download it once approved. [uktsfile 20014] I have still not established the root cause of the p...

Re: Sunday diversion
Yes, that's the one. The scenery folder is there because this enables the inclusion of placed non-stock items (in this case trackside workers and equipment), a rather fine feature that has not hitherto really been exploited by scenario makers - but as this is the only scenario of mine that has had ...

Re: Sunday diversion
Hi Paul - Yeah, I had a good go at the Darlington Local and it worked fine. As a test, I've just downloaded the "new" IoW unit and the new scenario for it, and they've worked straight off. I'm still puzzled by the lack of IoW or US in RS_Tools though. I'll give the xml repair function a go and see w...

Re: Sunday diversion
Hi - just downloaded the latest kickstart and it doesn't show up there either. Really odd, 'cos as I say, when I run the package manager it seems to install just like all the others do. On a slightly different issue, on both RS_Tools and Kickstart, neither the US or IoW route show up. Is that me mes...

Re: Sunday diversion
Hi Paul - yeah, I have all the add-ons needed, last thing I installed was the "Darlington Local" scenario which installed as normal, as most things do, which is why this one has confused me.

Re: Struggling with setting my "world" up
Hi Squatch, I had exactly the same problem & I found that it was because I had entered some slightly wrong data in the 'Template Routes\routeblueprint' section of Asset Editor. My problem was that for the 'Product' box of the Terrain Blueprint section (at the bottom of the form), I had entered 'Rai...

Sunday diversion
Not sure if it's just me being stupid, but I've just downloaded this excellent looking scenario which appears to install normally. However when I look for it in either RS or RS_Tools, it isn't there.
Any ideas?

Re: Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway
Excellent - good luck with this - I've walked along some of the old trackbed on varying visits to the Lakes, and visited Keswick station which is still in existence- will be very interesting to get an idea of what it looked like with track there!
Look forward to seeing further updates

Hi - still doesn't work for me, makes my engines disappear - all I see is the tender and the front coupling!
Is it likely to be anything to do with what detail settings are applied to the application?

Re: Class 57?
I think I've seen one somewhere else (mebbe on the train-sim.com site), though I suspect it was "just" a reskin of a 47 (I say just knowing that I've no idea how to do one).

Re: Justtrains PlusPaks
They look good - looking forward to you releasing them. When you're writing scenarios, I assume you have to cater for people who might not have the Class 66 add-on for instance. Does your scenario change the loco for one of the default loco's if it doesn't see the add-on present? Or do you just make...
