I met all 7 metres and 3.3tonnes of him at the Eden Project in August last year (my first holiday since 1993 - I'm sure you're all weeping salt tears on my account), as this photo shows: [album 131809 IMG_0462.jpg thumblink] I that think the Eden Project is his normal residence, as Terry guessed. Ho...

WOW! That looks good, very good. Well done and congratulations on your persistence. [These words may roughly be translated as "When are you going to upload it?"] but it is a borrowed copy of another .eng file Dont' tell me - putting it in reverse proves that perpetual motion machines are possible, i...

And yes, you are correct, it is 'Mother Dunch's Buttocks', visible from the upstream approach to Day's Lock on the Thames! Ah yes, I recall many glorious summers of yore spent rubbing suntan oil into them - but perhaps the ones I'm thinking of weren't Mother Dunch's (doesn't life get so happily haz...

Tony " I was better as Baldrick " Robinson, where are you when I need you? I should know the answer to this, because I know I've seen it. And more than once, because I used to live not far from it once upon a time. It isn't Uffington (because all the trees would get blown off, not over), or Segsbury...

Hear hear, of david, Asterix's mate  OY! Be careful.. Wasn't Asterix's mate Obelix? I'll have you know I drive past a certain Salopian county town most days on my way from home in North Shropshire to a parish in Telford. Any more allusions like that, and you might wake up to find a small vers...

As latimers pointed out, these sounds are controlled by entries in ingame.sms in the sound folder for your route. The .wav files are usually held in the global sound folder of the MSTS installation your route is installed under, but you may be able to specify a different directory/folder in the .sms...

Dear Jon, I found the tile under which the Sound sources have placed themselves and found the matching ws file in the route world folder. Deleted the ws file and went back into RE only to find the sound sources are still there. Deleted them again and checked the world folder again to see if the ws ...

The route is finished - I am just waiting on completion of the Sub units If anybody wants to remake this route then be my guest Hang on - isn't that a tad unfair on someone? " The route is finished... ...if anybody wants to remake this route... " I thought mpeffers had spent his summer vacation mak...

Little Moreton Hall. Is the hole a dog kennel? Ian J PS It's not far from a canal! :D Damn, damn, and thrice damn. Did the question about the hole give it away, or do you love the building as much as I do? I remember it from my early childhood, when they used to have a floral version of the Queen M...

Sorry about the delay, but us clerical types only work one day a week, as I'm sure you all know. OK, before we all sink or this changes into UKCanalSim forum, here is a non-waterborne (or is it?) landmark. For extra kudos, not only where is this, but what is the small hole built into the frame of th...

If you squint slightly at the suggestions so far - America and France - you might just be able to merge them and come up with Canada (though please don't ever tell any Canadians that I said that). The Rideau Canal Waterway starts in Ottawa with a staircase (not a flight) of eight locks up from (or, ...

I can guess - does it have something to do with clicking twice in the route editor???? ;) Sadly, no - it;s far more embarrassing than that. Oh, all right, I'll eat humble pie and tell you. I'd placed three of those 6-dwelling terraces in the RE to see what they looked like, late one night before I ...

Actually, they're in the model as groups, but then I flatten everything before exporting it, otherwise I start seeing bits of them miles away as elongated triangles. But, Paul - please ignore my post anyway. The "problem" was a non-problem that I've solved by myself - I had a sudden flash of inspira...
