I find a mixture of tequniques makes for best results. 1) use an airbrush to spray roof dirt all over the model. 2) then spray the underframes with frame dirt/sleeper grime 3) you can then use some break dust clour on the underframes if you want but use it sparingley. 4) to get a streeky look take a...

Don't think so. The only way would be to phisically bend the curve into it. But it's fairly difficult as it can bounce back straight again. Saying that why don't you go for sheet brass rarther then platicard. I don't think it's that much more expencive then plasticard and it's marganally easier to c...

Couldnt the tumblehome just be sanded to shape rather than bent? Depends on the construction of the side. Really you want thin sides to represent the thinness of the sides on a real Mk1 I beleve that this thinness is carried though to the EMU's that were based on them. With thin sides you'll find i...

So LNERandBR what you are saying is that the current Mid East and Mid East Plus will install as 2 seperate routes and thus both can be present in TS with no problems? ie no having to uninstall Mid East before installing Plus. That's Exactley it. Mid East Plus will install to it's own folder in the ...

Peterborough to Sleaford via Grantham Peterborough to Spalding Peterborough to March Sleaford to Lincoln Newark North Gate to Lincoln I beleve that these are all included. As for timeframe depends on how much Mick wants to do before releasing it. Mid East Plus is a stand alone route and dousen't ad...

Personally I prefer the Lenz LH100 system but that's because the Boston MRS has this system and I've gottern used to it. It is however very easy to use. Other then that there's the Hornby and Bachmann systems which are perfect for beginners but don't offer as much controlability when it comes to pro...

im doing some work on my baseboards and i was going to attach plywood to the table structure. i'm just wondering if this is the best thing to use for the baseboard? Depends really It can be harder to nail trackpins into then alternitives but then it's stronger and less likely to warp. Think your be...
