A big tip is be careful when makeing the roof fit the coach as on one of mine I filled too much away and was left with a massive hole between the body side and the roof. :cry: I filled the gap with model filler and sanded it flat with wet a...

All Level Crossings should have the railway protected by automatic gates. and I mean the full ones that totially shut off the railway not those half barriers.

How Sharp do you want :o
I dont think any 00 gauge pice of rolling stock could get round that. the sharpest you can have is 1st radious and then some of the larger locomotives/coaches wouldnt get round.

I'm getting the Bachmann K3 for Xmas :D
Think I'll pass on the Westerns not my perferd region of operation. 8)
I'll have to think about the Bachman Jinty as I could have one visiting the east coast :)
The Hornby Teak Gresleys are a must have item for me but I could buy kits and build my own. :)

Bachmann supply decoders to be fitted in locomotives. Any loco which has a DCC socket can be fitted with one.

I view Thompson as an idiot (thought moron would describe him better :lol:) Thats my view. It's a very heated topic because some think Thompson had some good ideas (the B1's and his carrages :) ) but others myself included think that that dosn't make up for the things he did to Gresleys designs :x ....

My View on Thopson is a morron because of what he did to Greselys design's.

Yes Gresely had failiers - Just look at the 'Hush Hush' - But Thompson created some locos that looked wrong and dident have the same adecive weight as Gresleys Locos.

Gresley = Genius
Thompson = Morron
Peppercorn = Genius

Thompson was an complete and utter morron. He ruined some of Gresleys best designes :x
Peppercorn had to sort out the mess that Thompson had left. Although that created with the A1 and A2 classes :)

The LNER had the most logical classifercation system of the Big4. All U need to know is which letter means which wheel arangement and it's easey.

I guess Reption is light footed because its a 4-4-0 and therefore dosen't have enough wheels to spread out its waight and therefore dosent wheigh as much as a 4-6-0 and as a result it dosent have as much adesive waight.

Maby they should fit some traction tyres! :lol:
