Re: 37401 In Transrail Livery

Was This Loco Available as 37401 Mary Queen of Scots in Trans-Rail Livery ? Pete Don't you just love the fact that you can ask a simple question, to which the answer is "no, but...", and before the day is out someone has risen to the challenge and has actually made the thing? If there's one thing U...

Don't think so Pete - are you perhaps thinking of "the Royal Scotsman" (funnily enough, in Royal Scotsman livery)? It's File ID is 9584

Sorry, I haven't yet figured out how to add a link to the file library item in my posts

I am not trainsimming at the mo as I've had enough of the "Unable to load this or that" memory errors! :) The patch is certainly getting more interesting but to be honest getting around the problems mentioned above is all part of the fun Hi Pete Whatever floats your boat - obviously a definition of...

Good advice, Mr 54 - although I myself have had no problems in being able to switch back and forth between the default and "best performance" settings, I see from your own experiences that problems may occur. Backing up beforehand is always sensible.

You don't seem to have looked very far.... they're all in the download library

Files IDs for Platform kit are 1210, 1211, 1186 & 1187

File IDs for Newroads are 6254 & 6957

Hi There are a couple more tricks you can use to get the most out of your system and maximise resources available to MSTS if your running Windows XP: 1) In Control Pannel, go to System, on the Advanced tab are the performance settings. By default, it's set to "let application decide...". Changing th...

IMHO, the best set of Whistler sounds by a country mile are those on the ELR CD - I have them aliased to all my 40s.

If you don't have the ELR route, try file IDs 7487 and 7794 in the downloads library.

I think Doug's right. With one major new train sim in the offing, another on the backburner and many people saying in the past few months that MSTS is just about dead, the bin patch has already extended its useful life. It's already successfully overcome many of MSTS's inbuilt limitations and given ...

If you need "leccies", you can do no better IMHO than get the Electric Heritage pack, available from the BATS site for around a tenner I think.

There's a full range of early locos from Class 81 to Class 86's.

Paul I have the same problem with the absence of the consist for activity Prince Palm Slate Up. I'm also missing the FRC 38 coaches but can download those from the site. Other than these, no problems encountered in downloading, unzipping or running what looks like an excellent upgrade to this route....

Hi Pete

You could always check the activities with Activity Analyser, note the missing stock items and then just download these items from the site.
