Portchester station has a problem with the 444s! The platform is too short, and either all the doors open, or none do! Fareham station has a ramp crossing from platform 1&2 to platform 3 (and the exit!), as the bridge does not have lifts! There is no chance of a train going through above 20 mph thro...

That makes the old slam dorr trains that old DOS system!
The reason the Electrostars are so unreliable at the moment are because there's so much more to go wrong! The old slam doors where just boxes on wheels!

Yeah, what ever happened to those great digital BR station clocks that would display the hours, minutes and seconds quite clearly, much much much better than an electronic display. Made a cool ticking kind of sound too and fun to watch when it reached a nice round time like 10.00.00... yes I lead a...

They do have the announcements at Southampton!, but only on the trains that are not starting a route! So, if you're on the wrong platform, you have about 1 minute to get from one platform to another, and that bridge can be busy!

Southampton Central has (effectively) 9 platforms! 1a&b, 2a&b, 3a&b, 4a&b and 5! They have the old tv screens with the arrivals and departures over the next couple of hours! They have the destination and time, I think they should include the platform number. Especially at stations where trains don't...

The main reason rail prices are so high is down to politics (no, don't all fall asleep just yet!) We don't have to pay for just one network of rails, we have to help pay for other countries' lines as well! It's all down to an agreement at a European Covention somewhere (the "lets all bug**r up brita...

Yeah, I know, but the quad-jets have more power available, overall!
The engines on the twin-jets are more overpowered, but they'll stuggle to get enough speed to miss the mountain!
