Are you sure you're using the gearing right, 1 until about 15 mph, the go to 2nd then increase the gears gradually. Also, remember to go back to 1st gear when starting.

When you've got a SR terrier in the branch platform, an O1 sitting in the opposite platform, and a West Country hurtling through on some Pulmans in the centre it oozes with atmosphere 8) :) :P

If it had been an 8F though, some of those were built at Brighton...or was it Eastleigh...Anyway, some were built on the Southren during the war

I'm going to put other work on hold while I try to do something on this. :)
I might make a group of activities using lots of SECR stuff. Be good to drag that out the back of the shed and give it a run.

Hate to point it out to you, but Jintys are an ex-LMS loco. Still a very good loco and route by the looks of it. I'm downloading mine now...
