(Well unless you include the thing in Train Store that lets you explore a route with AI traffic and/or consists from a certain activity. Although this requires an activity to be writen for it originally, so not particualry relevant to the question)

Not havint the original MSTS routes will most likely be the cause then. As John Kendrick said, the batch file is copies files from all 6 default routes. Therefore, if some of these are missing this may be the cause. Rather than completely removing them, it may be best to just "store" them using Trai...

You need to install .net framework from Microsoft.

Gap will take at least 3 or 4 years from when construction begins. If all the funding was in place. TBH, doubt the Gap will be bridge for a while. Most of the Gap team became directors of the GCR (Loughborough-Leics section) so Gap work has been put on the back burner I think.
