South West Trains do NOT run Junipers to Alton anymore. Their prime route is Waterloo to Reading, with around 98% 458 2x458 units. You may occasionally, during weekends and peak times, see Junipers on the Weybridge via Brentford services, but that is it.

I rode in the front of a 442 Wessex from Waterloo to Weymouth - a good 3 hours each way! It was brill!

I recommend you do go to the visitors centre - you do get a great view of both landing and departing aircraft.
