Re: Eddington Junction to Evercreech

As I say, it depends on how you are to release. if you are going to put it up on UKTS, its wisest to run it by RSC. But if you are working from a clone of the original Bath Templecombe route, and you intend to up it onto workshop, there is no need to delete anything. I mean, if you were upping the o...

Re: West Somerset Railways

Just a question, has anyone actually selected the content file and set it to read AND write? Might be a possible answer there.

Re: Eddington Junction to Evercreech

I have been working on extending the default Somerset & Dorset route westwards from Evercreech along the original line to Highbridge. Evercreech to Eddington Junction is fairly complete and I have now started on the branch from Eddington Junction south towards Bridgwater North. Besides being an int...

Re: Problem with Hall brakes...

2 Different Halls though. The one in the Settle pack is the original hall, whereas the one in WSR is a modified hall, a very different beastie. I noticed the occasional slip (nothing too awful), but tbh Ive had that appear on most of the rolling stock in the game. Any observations when it appears th...

Re: The Woodhead route problems !!!

I think it very unlikely that a route, when its been released, will ever have more track added to it for a variety of technical reasons. The exception to that is routes that have sections unsceneried, such as with GEML, where they fill in the remaining sections in line with new product. But ultimat...

Re: Best way of doing Tunnel Occlusions

Best get them wide, and if there is a signficant gradient underground, make them tall. Drag them into position above ground, then lower them below it. Just be careful not to have the end of the box sit outside the tunnel mouth. It can be rather evident, particularly if its very dark. If you have a R...

Re: West Somerset Railways

I haven't noticed that yet. I was just going to post about a strange thing. If i try to run the DT Westcountrys both rebuilt and unrebuilt, as soon as I click them to drive after placing them anywhere on the route, i get the usual CTD with the usual nonsense error report. All other DT locos run fin...

Re: 56xx addon

Incidentally, I notice Petes 56xx has now, after a very short period, reached the number 9 position on the RSC best selling list. Well done Pete!

Re: 56xx addon

Well if you are missing assets, the first thing you should do is verify cache to make sure you got the full download. Then clear cache to make sure all the blueprints have gone. If the settings text file doesnt show up then, well clearly there is something off. Its in my folder, does anyone else hav...

Re: Coming soon to Train Simulator the GWR 56XX

Righto, remember the large ejector? You used that to release the brakes, and most people keep it it fully off which you dont need to do. Anyway, close that (push forward on it I think, or shift j) and when you move the brake handle to off, it wont release, since the ejector is not creating vacuum an...

Re: Coming soon to Train Simulator the GWR 56XX

Mike, it very likely has converted it into an AP file, which should be all you need to make it work. If it has removed stuff, make sure you clear cache, that should make the scenarios appear in the career scenario folder. Or at least the new ones, Im not quite sure of the status of the older ones. A...

Re: West Somerset Railways

Well I was going to wait for a sale but have just purchased it and I have to say from what I have seen between Williton and Blue Anchor that rather than hang their heads in shame the route builders should be pleased with themselves! I am not local but have travelled on the line and it seems to capt...

Re: RSC Workshop - Settle to Carlisle 1975 - Scenarios

I think we are all at cross purposes here. There are indeed a considerable amount of scenarios for the original RSC route Settle to Carlisle on Workshop. However, you wont find any scenarios for my mash-up of the route 'Settle and Carlisle 1975' on workshop, because so far its not been finalised. Yo...

Re: New RSC Route

Hmmm, not impressed - why duplicate an already existing route ? Nothing against the WSR - love the place - but if they must do a heritage line, how about the Bluebell or another one that has not yet been done ? Hopefully this is not an attempt to placate the steam buffs who have been clamouring for...
