Platform Markers Across Points
RS allows platform markers to be dragged across points (e.g. a station engine release crossover).
Has anybody encountered any issues arising from this?

The virtual permanent way engineers have been working over-time over the weekend. Will the South Trans-Penine express depart on time?

Derek, you look different. You used to have two big eyes. Have you had a nose job?

Re: Home Brew Overlay for Google Earth
We could definitely do with an open route building tool which can export into either sim.

Re: Class 158
Be interesting to see if it is released at the end of this week. With a VAT change imminent, my guess it won't be released until next week.
More time to build a route to run it on.

To convert the MSTS gradient to 1/xxx, just tap it into a calculator and hit the tan button. To get the xxx part, hit the 1/x button!

Re: Route Markers
We could really do with some 3D height to these line markers. Once you've started laying the track, the junction lines disappear underneath the track!

Re: Encouraging New Content Creation
Matt, as I said, there's nothing to stop you setting yourself up a paypal account purely for donations, and if that doesn't satisfy you can then bump to "better versions" once you donate (like Route Riter) or push through to 100% commercial and require payment. But you can go for a simple donation ...

Re: Gradient Profiles
All these are available in "British Rail Main-Line Gradient Profiles" book by Ian Allen. Does anybody know where to find the following: BRI Brocklesby Jc - Immingham, HAU/BAR Habrough - Ulceby Jc/ Ulceby Jc - Barton-on-Humber, MWN Marsh West - Grimsby Docks, DOW Scunthorpe - Wrawby Jc, NOB Lincoln -...

Re: Black lines
I've seen these dark lines appear now again along the tile boundaries. They don't seem to be permanent features. Have you tried restarting the sim?

Re: Route Markers
I've currently got 10 railway series marker files and 1 road series marker file in my latest route reincarnation.
In previous lives I've used multiple named marker files.

Re: Different track spacing
You could lay tracks with a different track rule to get the spacing, and then relay the track (using snap-to-track) to your desired track rule. The only problem I've noticed with multiple track rules is setting properties across track rule joints.
