Re: Huge Fire breaks out in Williams F1 Garage
The news of the F1 fire is something I was surprised about. What I am concerned about is how it was dealt with. It sounds like the fire was put out by the teams. Where was the fire brigade? The impression I have is one of a bunch of keystone fireman in shorts. Good luck to the last remaining team me...

Re: Off Topic
That sounds a little harsh, don't you think? I appreciate my sense of humour is hard to follow.

Re: Off Topic
Perhaps you could provide a link to these 'off topic' vans....
We used to have the concept of the dodgy white van. You know, those non-descripts that drove around as if they was black with a red stripe. I'm not sure if they was marked GMC or out of control aimless AK47's.

Re: i5 2500k, 560ti. Bad Performance?
Badly optimised, or haven't got it right? I've seen some pretty impressive graphics from some applications (ahem, games), and they do not have half the view distance that is what is needed for this genre. Perhaps some people would rather see 8 cpu cores working flat out for less the work rate of a s...

Re: I think I need to go out and kill a mobile telephone company
I personally found that pay as you go means that you have your voice messages deleted if you do no check in often enough. Withdrawal of credit is something only the debt pushers can work out is in their own best interests. I fail to see how a recommendation to go into the hands of a debt management ...

Re: i5 2500k, 560ti. Bad Performance?
I've got a high end processor, overclocked to 4.6GHz, and a GTX680. Don't get me wrong, it works better than my old setup. Far, far better. I can whack all the settings up and it performs better than my old system on low settings. I suppose disappointment is in the eye of the beholder. Thankfully, c...

Re: I think I need to go out and kill a mobile telephone company
We are all grumpy old men on here. If you want an upgrade, make sure you are compatible otherwise you will be deleted. I want to kill every banker, claims management company, debt recovery specialist and the driver of every train that is late. However, after admitting so, I am now on an MI watch lis...

Re: Settle Carlisle Specials...
I bought into this idea of a constantly updated platform. I like the vision, and I can understand that the business model is hard to crack. But if you buy a product which is not to be updated, then maybe it should not have been bought at all. I like the emblems such as TS2012 Ready, etc.. I wonder w...

Re: Settle Carlisle Specials...
New customers will always get a good deal as an enticement. Existing customers can look for something better elsewhere. I wonder if I move to a competitor though, will I get bombarded, or 'constantly harassed' with 'come back' deals. There is so much available for this product now, that I've already...

Re: The Big Deal
It sounds like the old VW. Once you've got one, you don't need another one. If you do not design in obsolescence then you are out of business.
Doesn't a plaggy bag feel so much heavier with a bit of gaffer tape around the bottom though?

Re: The Big Deal
If regulation is not needed, than why behave in manner that needs regulating? All I want is a plastic bag that can be opened. What is the point of a bag that cannot serve its usefully designed purpose? And what is the point of an express check out, if a bag opener has to be employed to do the simple...
