My first aeroplane.
I was asked to have a go at a Vulcan bomber to populate RAF Finningley on Mideast Plus. After many failed attempts and probably 20 hours work here it is. I haven't tried to export it to msts yet. Cheers, Dave. [album 123976 Vulcan.jpg thumblink] [album 123976 Vulcan2.jpg thumblink] [album 123976 Vul...

HSTs can't get to 125 with 9 trailers, their balancing speed on level track is about 115, so 125 is only possible down hill. I always thought the original Eastern Region class 254 HSTs were uprated to allow 125mph running in standard 9 trailer form, unlike the earlier class 253 units which were onl...

Hi Mike and welcome to the forums. I am not aware of any current route that includes Darlington for msts. When the KRS simulator comes out one of the uk routes is going to be York to Newcastle, set in the early 1970s if I remember correctly. I don't think there will be a way of having 'random' train...

Can FS models be used as scenery in train sim?
Sorry if this is a daft question but I know nothing about flight sim modelling. Is it possible to use an aircraft model from flight sim as a static scenery item in train sim? I would like to populate a trackside RAF base with a few aircraft. For this to work I suppose the aircraft would have to have...

I don't think there were too many differences from a patched up version. Stick with what you've got until Mideast Plus comes out then get that. It is a completely new route with lots more included, such as the Yorkshire coalfield, the Skegness line, the GN Moorgate branch, plus the ECML extended to ...

Hi Jon, thats strange then. I had left some modified cvfs in my trainset folder but I have just managed to start the sim and have a quick drive on Ashburton using the train.exe that Petethetim sent me and I still have the modified cvfs in there. Having said that, I am using trainstore so I guess the...

Pete that would be great thanks. Buffy, I have retrieved the original .exe from my cd and downloaded the 1.2 update but the sim won't start. I am considering doing a fresh install onto a spare drive but maybe getting a copy of Petes .exe will be a lot quicker. Thanks for the replies. Pete, I will PM...
