Re: KRS > Clouds
Hi everyone. First of all I would like to say that I for one like extra eye candy. But please dont not lose sight that lots of people on here are having to run the sim at lower details due to poor PC performance. Extra eye candy usually takes even more processing power, so its a matter of balance he...

Re: Bristol Sheffield V3
Thanks jetgriff for updating the route map with station and junction names.
Things are looking good with the route, it really is a big area you have taken on.
Bloody well done mate.

Re: Bristol Sheffield V3
For those of us not familiar with the route or area and if its not to much to ask, could you please update the map with the locations of the Stations and Sidings to able to get a general idea of where all the lines run to and from. I have tried several atlases to follow the route on, but I for one a...

Re: Deleting Scenarios (Upgrade Mk1)
I have used the delete button method to remove a scenario from the main screen. However if you try to load up the same scenario (or revised scenario using the same name)it fails to load using the packager. I think this is because although it removes the scenario, it does not remove the uninstall inf...

Memory leak ?
Hi, I am currently running KRS on a Sony VGN-FZ11Z which runs all the routes and scenarios very well at reasonable settings. I have however noticed that on some of the longer routes especially the York-Newcastle that towards the end of the run the Horn and the AWS sounds tend not to sound their full...

Re: A new Scenario for Bath Green Park to Templecombe
Good scenario; Loaded up and installed OK, a good run and a challenge. Is that water tower in the wrong place as surely having to shunt the train back with passengers in is a bit of a problem. Well done, nice to travel the other way for a change. Thanks for you effort :D Stick430.

Re: Problems installing RS_Tools_TMB
Mike, my gripe is not with your utility, I suppose eventually KRS will allow some sort of control over route and scenario management with a patch. I thought XP was OK on my old machine, but everything now comes with Vista on it now and it is a bit of a . at times. Ive had problems with other softwar...

Re: Problems installing RS_Tools_TMB
Paul, you are not the only one who has had problems with this tool. I have Vista32 and have gone through a similar experience as you. I finally gave up trying to get it to work after many hours. The programme works OK because other people have told me so, so it must be us. I also tried removing via ...

Re: Bath Green Park Local
Hi , after reading the posts on here, I have decided to download and try the scenario. After looking at the readme file I do have just a few questions . Is it actually necessary to carry out the following quote? "This activity requires the green versions of the Black 5 and Class 47 available from ht...

Re: OK, I give up...
Just my tuppence worth, Normally under old mechanical signal box workings, facing points were usually protected by a locking mechanism to prevent accidental usage ie the signalman would have to throw another lever to allow the changing of the facing points. With this in mind, the protected points if...

Bankok Market
Have a look at this. It really shows up different theorys into running railways in different parts in the world.Would H&S in this country really accept this practice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-JJ7atlYAI Sorry if this has been covered before but as an ex railwayman I can´t believe this. Tony

Bigbenbear may have a point, I did notice some text being displayed when loading one of the files. The problem is as quick as the text is displayed, the dialog box closes. Mine sometimes locks up just as you start driving the train. (The Crew to Liverpool activity, I think it's this one. Good route ...
