Hi Jon Back again When I say I hope a newbie isn't afraid of asking questions I don't neccesarily mean the orginal enquirer. Hi everyone. Just to come back on the subject of Wipers. I think that the original enquirer was simply asking Why do wipers work on one loco and not another. And as a member of the community pointed out the wipers only work on a loco that has animated wipers. I think that most people soon realise th...

Sometimes it is always worth bearing in mind that We were all beginners once and it isn't always apparrent to a beginner why some wipers work on one loco and not another etc. There are limitations to what is possible in MSTS but on the whole it is a decent simulator even though it is getting on in y...

I recommend having a premium account with UK Trainsim. It more than pays for itself during the twelve months. Kind regards Stephen. Ps,There is no queuing you simply take your pick from the vast choice of routes and or rolling stock and off you go. I would also just add that there are quite a number...

Hi Coxter Thanks for your reply The tutorials I have seen only advise on making eng file changes following installation of the patch. They don't take you from step 1 installing the patch correctly in the first place. I am sure that quite a number of train simmers are confused with the read me file t...

MSTS BIN Tutorial?

Hi everyone Are there any plans to offer a tutorial on the correct installation of MSTS bin. As someone who normally has no difficulty changing cabviews or sounds in the standard MSTS setup, I find the MSTS bin confusing. The broken english in the guide doesn't really help. Any help or advice would ...

I have been playing both Parts 1 & 2 of the ECE, and in my opinion it is good value for money. The Activities entertain, and it is a reasonable interpretation of the route. Like anything else anyone can find faults if they want to go looking for them. But overall this is a decent product. I would ju...
