Are you running Train Store, if not I suggest you download it from this site now, it will be the best thing you've done since buying MSTS.

If you added any routes lately or made alterations to your P/C this is possibly causing Train Sim problems, Train Store will overcome this.

Try clicking on the Tools and then on Unstore everything, don't delete Trainstore and if you have to for some reason (not to be undertaken lightly) only by the method "Uninstall Train Store" on the Tool Bar or you're asking for trouble. I'm running Vista and have had no problems unpacking. This maybe stating the obvious, but you are dragging the packaged activity over the unpacker in UTILS and not trying to open the file. Also have you given tsunpack file Full Control in Properties/Security. Finally the Route isn't stored in TrainS...
