Hi yesguitar,
Are you running Train Store, if not I suggest you download it from this site now, it will be the best thing you've done since buying MSTS.
If you added any routes lately or made alterations to your P/C this is possibly causing Train Sim problems, Train Store will overcome this.

No when you've finished in AE and return to Train Store, if use Easy Train Store, when you select a Route and then an activity, Train Store will then store away all the unused files so that Train Sim uses only the minimum files required and this will run the activity at the best speed possible from ...

Try clicking on the Tools and then on Unstore everything, don't delete Trainstore and if you have to for some reason (not to be undertaken lightly) only by the method "Uninstall Train Store" on the Tool Bar or you're asking for trouble. Ever thought of reading the instructions, you can cause youself...

Hi Darren, I am running Vista and MSTS runs fine. Are you using Trainstore? Have you got Conbuilder or RouteRiter, if so you should try checking the activities first with one of these to ensure you have everything required for the activities that are giving you problems. It could be a memory problem...

Jon, I have down loaded the "Lion" steam effect, but have found the steam leakage effect is nowhere as good as the one in your shots (it just seems to come out as Indian smoke signals). Any chance you can point me inthe right direction to improve the leaking steam effect. I presume the file requires...

Hi widescreen, Make sure you press the shift key down first and hold it whilst pressing the Z key once (while running an activity) and then try looking in the bottom right hand corner, shows in Green something like FPS:51 (written quite small). To turn off repeat above. See below, Click on pic for l...

Hi, I agree Ron, Train Store can look scary at first but if you use Easy Train Store option before progressing to using Classic Train Store (both are provided in the download from this site) its easy peasy. Tom if you load Train Store you'll never look back, well worth downloading and is one of the ...

Yes thanks Mike, I've installed the latest updates. One thing, I'm running Vista and on the last update 7.027 I found that I only had to left click once on the desktop shortcut and RouteRiter loaded. I find now that with this version 7.0.37, I have to left click on the shortcut and then click the ru...

I'm running Vista and have had no problems unpacking. This maybe stating the obvious, but you are dragging the packaged activity over the unpacker in UTILS and not trying to open the file. Also have you given tsunpack file Full Control in Properties/Security. Finally the Route isn't stored in TrainS...
