Duke of Glosc
Hi
Does anyone know the latest on 71000 Duke of Gloucester?
Last I heard it was 'poorly''. I am asking as it was booked to do the THE SCARBOROUGH FLYER - Crewe-Manchester Vic-York-Scarborough and return on Friday 1st August.
Will it ready in time?
Cheers

60009 to Edinbrough Or Not
Hi - Was at York today to see 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley and 60009 Union Of South Africa. (didnt think it was worth £32.50 to see all 4 A4's LOL)
My question is after looking at http://www.uksteam.info is why was 60009 replaced by diesel at Tyne Yard

Hi
Went to the LNER 2008 steam gala and was brilliant - pity about the rain. lol
Anyway I was wondering if anyone can tell me the miles between each station so that I can work out how many miles | did altogether. Have tried looking on various sites but cant seem to find the info I want.
