As a member of staff at the RHDR who knew the engine driver for a number of years and also knowing that other members of staff who knew her use this forum, the attitude of certain members on this forum is discraceful (I wont name names but they know who they are) and if they dont know anything on t...

Current progress: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.baldwin30/Burgundy/JS1.JPG it borrows textures of the roof etc from my older Captain Howey mod, as they incorperate some good shading textures. Does anyone have a photo of the small logo like object on John Southland's engine cover? Thanks. Tom T...

RH&DR Tenders

Bubble About time a RH&DR steamer and my fav loco 3 as well  [album 119022 IMG_0321.jpg] Just for your information, Green Goddess & Typhoon have similar (Ashford) tenders. Northern Chief & Southern Maid have identical (TMA) tenders. Hercules & Samson would normally both have identical (Greenly,...

10/10 excellent work, just a one point check out this pic, your roof detail is incorrect, the exhaust exits through one small pipe next to the cab and the other openings are the air intake (small opening on the roof above the nameplates) and ventilation doors (large opening between the air intake an...

trainmad wrote:It's built to 2x scale, so the speed will be double 25mph, which is obviously 50mph. :)
I think somebody is missing the point, RH&DR Loco's are 1/3 scale, they travel at a maximum of 25 mph (i.e. 1/3 of 75 mph).

obviously the MSTS model should have a maximum speed of 25 mph not 50 mph

Hi Bubble, Being critical the loco appears to be too low on the track, you are missing the narrow windows facing backwards from the cab (otherwise the driver would have to lean out the window when driving bonnet first  ), and the couplings and vacuum pipes are missing. Just for infomation the r...
