Re: North Lincolnshire Lines
I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the speed limit signs. I was letting the driver worry about such things!

Re: North Lincolnshire Lines
Great screenshots! I went for a ride to Grimsby and Barton-on-Humber yesterday and was thinking about this route as I passed through Habrough. Saw the pub in one of your earlier shots. Will be interesting to see the scenery when you get to Melton Ross. You'll have to use winter scenery all year roun...

Re: Class 66 problem?
I had this problem the other night with a pair of 47s and rake of HAAs. Found the only way to cure it is to come to a complete stop and then restart, which I guess you would've had to do anyway if said signal was passed at danger.

I don't know if it means there are no failed trains (it's still new to me), but I have opened the scenario in the editor and not had any error messages come up.

I'm having the same problem: Scenario failed to load. Is it because I don't have the Armstrong MTU sounds? The ex-GNER HST says I need it to have sound, but doesn't say I MUST have it for it to work.

Re: Maps for free rail sim routes
What's needed are some route learning scenarios. Only when you've driven them a couple of dozen times will you be allowed out on a service train.

Better yet, if the author will allow, could it be uploaded here so anyone can get it?

Re: 15:45 Oxford - Paddington
Actually, I read about a fix for some missing track somewhere, which I didn't have installed but which I would have needed had I got further on than Slough. I found the patch, installed it and ran the scenario again. My path was correctly set and I completed the activity. My understanding is that th...

Re: HST Valenta Sounds from the Armstrong Powerhouse (Out Now)
Purchased your sound pack this afternoon and wasted no time getting it installed and trying it out on the included scenario. Fantastic!

Re: RSDLworks Engine shed
Really think you've got the design nailed. This is sure to raise the interest in RS from people who haven't already made the transition. BP :D I'm loving what's already available - the default game, the Class 66 & 08 add-ons, plus the activities from the Armstrong Powerhouse - but what I really wan...

Re: 15:45 Oxford - Paddington
This is my first post in a long time. Bought a new PC at the beginning of this year and never got round to installing MSTS on it, but was in the mood for some driving this weekend so decided to buy Rail Simulator. Having got everything working and being suitably impressed with the look and feel, I w...

Re: 1980s North West England
Terrific pictures, really great quality. Are they scans of prints or negatives? What equipment did you use?
I went through Longport the other day, the station building is still there but it's all boarded up now. Would love to ride a 304 again.
Any photos from the Manchester-Glossop-Hadfield line?

Here are a selection of photos mainly of DRS Sandites over the last few days... http://thumbs.fotopic.net/619035000518.jpg 20305 is seen leading 3S21 at South Milford Top-notch photo. I love the light of the sky and the 20 is pin-sharp. Just got a 5D myself and hope to have "a proper go" this weeke...

I've just run this activity again and completed it without any problems, apart from TS crashing before I was returned to the menu. Anyway, the difference this time was at Hayward's Heath. Previously I was held whilst 2 trains passed, but this time I was allowed to follow the EMU that was leaving the...
