Re: 60' jointed track sounds.

Using bullhead track instead of flatbottom rail track should give a jointed sound on that section. Alternatively, there should be an option to change the 'trackbed rumble' sound when placing track, at least with the old Kuju track rules. Also there is a patch on steam sounds supreme to correct the ...

60' jointed track sounds.

Good evening folks, I'm hoping to be able to coax carriages modified to use the Steam Era sound pack to produce the 'clickety-click' along one single track of a double track stretch. In the real world, there was 1 mile of track on a Down line only using 60' panels, the rest of the Down line, and the...

Re: Problems with track laying on a gradient.

You should be in the "Lofts" menus (the tracks), bottom left menu. If you have "75" in the correct box (<), just under the number of tracks (|| ||), the radio button for the "snap to terrain" (to the right of the gradient box) NOT selected, then the track will lay at your selected gradient. Never h...

Problems with track laying on a gradient.

Good evening everyone,

I'm trying to lay track on a gradient of 1 in 75. Despite the correct (i.e. not minus) figure being entered into the gradient box, the track lays out Level. It is not set to follow the terrain.

Does anyone else have this problem?.

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

Re: 1950's Riviera disappointment

Good evening folks, I have a nice set of WR locos (complete with WR ATC sound effects), however TS always crashes when I try to run the route. I have the settings down low. Every other route I have is fine. I've verified the cache too... The locos run fine on other routes. Has anyone else had proble...

Re: ERROR message in TS2016

I think that message indicates a graphics issue, try turning down the settings a little or contact Support. ERROR message in TS2016

Good afternoon everyone, Since receiving the new Steam version of TS2016, I often receive the following error message, mainly while running the Riviera in the 1950s route:- "ERROR: Failed to create vertex buffer (E_OUTOFMEMORY). FILE: DxCommon\cHcVertexManagerDx.cpp LINE:1242" Does this relate to Di...

Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.

Hi I must admit that screen shot of Exeter St Davids looks really,I just hope DTG don't ruin the atmosphere by using the default road vehicles, after all a Bristol VR would look rather misplaced in a 1950's route, more suitable buses would be Bristol K or F and or a single deck Bristol L5G for Wester...

Re: GSWR open beta availble from SSS

Hi Bob, it's the kuju/railsimulator/railvehicles/freight/standardvan folder and the scenario is looking for the van in a default - copy folder instead of the default folder. this can be edited in the 65bb4327-94c4-4cfc-9b66-2279ca0d495f route and f6c3fe22-e2f1-4d24-8b5d-07af026a5b5a scenario folder...

Re: GSWR open beta availble from SSS

Hi, it looks as though someone has accidentally copied the default folder back into the same folder - easy fix is to do the same and delete everything in the copied folder except the standard van.bin file or edit the quickdrive to use the default standard van Hello Mark, Which folders are you refer...

Re: GSWR open beta availble from SSS

Hi Bob, I had the same error but clicked on 'Edit' and then on 'Save' - that got the QD to work ok, and I had nice potter along the line in a green 117 from Laverton to Winchcombe - very much as I did a couple of weekends ago! The route is modelled brilliantly. Michael Thanks, Michael, I'll give it...
