Re: What do your bogies sound like?
I would like all the track sounds to be consistant. If that Woodhead sound could be applied to a lot of the other coaches or routes.... however its done then they would all sound much better. I hate the default sounds with a passion. If some one could come up with a fix to apply these sounds to the ...

Re: How too install rwp files
I just tried to run utilities.exe and all of the buttons in the app are not working says on the tabs across the top: RS_TXT_WRAPPER_TOOLS_AND_DOCS all the other navigation buttons seem to have similar things on them. I need to install an RWP. I was going to try the 7zip method but that's not downloa...

Re: What do your bogies sound like?
By complete chance I just ran class 37 Green scenario. When I exited TS I stumbled upon your post. I think its hard to distinguish the differences between coaches who designed what, where and when. On the scenario I was just running "The North Country Continental" on the Woodhead Line the coaches an...

Could it, Should it, Would it?
With regards to the way cabs are created this is a time consuming process of making shapes to mimic the appearance of a complex machine. Instead of doing this is it feasible with technology of today to go inside the cab of a real train and take a moving video of the controls and knobs bells and whis...

Re: A Little Bit Of Atmosphere! 9
I have often thought that the tracks in TS would look much better with a bit of litter... maybe even the occasional Tomato Plant thrown in for good measure

Re: Graphics Card Upgraded
Hi GPTech I had not seen your reply sorry. Is there any way to retrieve my full system specs please? THanks Simon What are the full system specs Simon? As Juanillo has said, if your CPU is weak it won't be able to produce the images the graphic card just puts the final polish on. I wouldn't trust Wi...

Graphics Card Upgraded
Hi I have just upgraded from a 9800 GTX to a Nvidia 760. The 9800 was really struggling with TS and was running below 14 frames per sec. Even tho I have now installed the new card I am not seeing any boost in performance. The Frame Counter is still stuck at 14 and looking around the cab is still jer...

Invalid Depot Config Error
Morning I have done a quick search on the forums and can see that this error "Invalid Depot Config Error" has been raised before but not to much as to how it can be fixed. I have had to reinstall steam and also TS but when TS downloads from steam and begins its installation its getting stuck with th...

Re: DTG Announce new TS2015 features
Yes sorry that's correct typo. I would deffo like to replace the graphics card to a beefier one. But I need to know which is best to go for. At the moment its an AMD Athlon IIX45 Processor at 3.10gb Would that be an Atlon II X 645? If so, that's not too shabby--falls below an i5 so possibly on par w...

Re: DTG Announce new TS2015 features
At the moment its an AMD Athlon IIX45 Processor at 3.10gb 8GB Ram Win OS 7 Pro 64bit At the mo it handles TS but deffo sluggish at times. I still have a 9800 GTX and if required I could just replace that with something more up market. As nobody knows exactly what the new engine will bring nobody can...
