I havent uploaded this loco so cant comment from personal experience, but it looks like an alpha textures problem?

Has anyone else suffered the same problem?

As the standard of contribution to MSTS continues to rise it seems to me that, inevitably, it takes longer to produce content of an acceptable standard with a consequent slow down in production rate? It makes me wonder if the new Kuju sim may raise the bar even higher, to a point only a select few h...

I found a quick way of laying track on steep terrain is to lay the first section on the slope in question then hit 'n'. Track adjusts to slope.

Then build out from there.

This may not be much help but sometime ago I had a problem with wheel heirarchy on a 4 wheel model which was resolved by renaming them wheels12, wheels22.

I cant remember where the idea came from, I think steam4me?

Dave I had a similar problem today. Eventually realised that I had moved the .dst file which seemed to break the paths to the texture files. I was unable to fix the pathways (the change texture option changes file names but not paths) so had to move the .dst file back to its original location, which...

Cobos wrote Have to say I wouldn't lay a curved crossover with straight pieces in there somewhere I agree it is not elegant but I cannot get xcl_7d13 to work without considerable use of dynatrax. Perhaps the answer is to use tscc_250m_7d13 and accept there is only 6ft spacing at the crossover? Phil

Got this one if its any help..

[album 116277 xsing.jpg]

which gives a 12ft spacing.

Uses tcr_l_250m_7d13, is_14m692, tcl_r_250m_7d13 for inner path,

uses tcl_l_253m_7d13, is_14m692, tcr_r_250m_7d13 for outer path,

and x_14m7_14d26 for the crossover.

Have you noticed that if the driver in the car in front is wearing a beige car coat, you know you're in trouble...and if he's wearing a hat & gloves as well, you are in for a long slow drive

Thanks for your kind comments.

If you liked the steam crane there's a couple of items prepared for the Gowin to Knowear route which may be of interest when it comes out
